Origins
What started in a basement with a passion for airguns quickly grew into something much bigger. Founded in the mid-1990s by Josh Ungier, Pyramyd AIR became one of the earliest dedicated online airgun retailers, helping shape the future of the hobby while connecting enthusiasts across the country through catalogs, trade shows, and the early days of e-commerce.
Community
As the airgun world evolved, so did Pyramyd AIR. The launch of the Pyramyd AIR blog in 2005 helped create one of the largest online communities dedicated to airguns, education, testing, and outdoor adventure. During this era, the company also expanded operations to keep up with growing demand from shooters nationwide.
Growth
The 2010s marked a decade of major growth and industry recognition. Pyramyd AIR earned Crosman's Internet Retailer of the Year award and celebrated 20 years in business, growing from a three-person basement operation into one of the largest airgun retailers in the world while continuing to serve the shooting community with unmatched expertise and customer care.
