Air Venturi Alpha Air Rifle

I'd highly recommend this, it's an off-the-charts value proposition. Overall great design and a lot more fun than I expected. The compact one is a perfect balance of light weight but quality feel. It seems accurate enough so far, though I only have a few mags through it at short range. Mag design is nice and easy to load.

I HATE that the safety is counter-clockwise to disengage. I'm used to and would prefer the opposite. The side cocker isn't super duper smooth, and the trigger is a tiny bit rough, but well within expectations for the price and neither are bad. They may break in. I had the loose nut for the stock attachment rattling around in the box like many other people - it would be nice if they figured out a way to secure those for shipping.

You can definitely get 20 shots out of a fill, but only the first 10 shots hold a consistent 845fps regulated velocity before it starts tapering off to about 750.

It is light but feels like great build quality. Simple set up. Not too loud with heavy pellets. It is very accurate 10 shots covered with a penny at 25yds. Packaging is superb. Comes with two mags and extra orings. Hopefully it will hold up with more use. Pic rails on top and the sides are a nice touch. Bipod mounts nice and secure to the mlok fore grip. An aftermarket suppressor will make it backyard friendly.

Great gun to get the youth started in shooting sports. Especially at this price point. You can’t go wrong with this gun.

Accurate, Just picked it up today mounted scope and sighted it in at 50 yds., hitting dime size bullseyes. Very reasonably priced for a compact regulated air rifle. this review is based on my first day with the rifle, I will update if any issues arise in the near future.

I would like to see the moderator easier to take off and replace. Also one nut for the stock was missing searched the whole box, found the other nut stuck to the magnet on the folding stock.

For anyone wondering I found a replacement nut at local hardware store, it is a fine thread 4mm nut. it would be nice if at the bare minimum they put the screws in the stock threaded partially in the nuts to secure them for transport.

This is a tack driver with JBS Hades 15.89. Love this gun fun to shoot.

It's an awesome shooter, compact, comes with everything you need, it's super accurate and lightweight.

The moderator does an ok job but could be better.

Pyramid is a solid company to deal with, product was out of stock but once they got it in store they shipped quick.

The precision and power are wonderful. Magazines work well, good trigger.

Please stop using red loctite on the can and shroud nut. It looked like a four year old had gotten into her mom's nail polish. The can is better than nothing, but nothing compared to a donny fl koi. Action noise, the pneumatic "sproing", is excessive. As it comes, it's too loud for suburban back yard, and you can't get the can off without a lot of heat. Unless they skipped the glue.

For all intent and purpose this is an updated version of the Notos. Better in everyway except for loudness. Best airgun value today

Love it. Absolutely love it. The Alpha would be worth the purchase price for the accessories alone, without the gun: regulator, shroud AND silencer, folding stock, side lever, M-lock handguard, extra magazine and single shot tray.

The silencer isn't doing much, but it is removable, with 1/2-20 standard threads. I heard rumors of it being glued on but it isn't. No red Loctite. It was on tight and I had to put pliers and a pipe wrench on it to loosen it, but it threads off. The included silencer will work fine on a low power gun or one that is already pretty quiet. The Alpha has a short barrel and is pushing 15gr pellets around 850 fps, so it is pushing some air. I put a DonnyFl Ronin on mine and it is backyard friendly but not "pfft" quiet.

The Alpha checks all of the boxes for me. Super impressed. I have a Benjamin Marauder pistol that I use for pesting and hunting around the farm and I love it- but I've spend $1000+ and many, many hours working on that gun to turn it into what this gun is for $270. Air Venturi knocked it out of park with the Alpha. For $270 I'm thinking about buying a 2nd one to just keep in reserve in case this one breaks or needs work at some point.
