Description
The Air Venturi Avenger Bullpup II is a regulated PCP air rifle that takes all of the popular features from the original Avenger and places them into a bullpup format for excellent maneuverability, making it ideal for target practice and hunting small game such as rabbits and squirrels. It still has the incredible accuracy and flexibility of the previous versions, but now measures only 33" long overall, down from about 43" overall for the longer versions.
The new Bullpup offers two great enhancements over the original, a lower scope rail and a forward mounted cocking lever. These changes deliver a greatly improved ergonomic experience for shooters. All of the great features original Avenger bullpup owners loved are still present, including the additional forearm picatinny accessory rails, magazine storage compartments and an adjustable cheekpiece.
The air rifle retains the incredible adjustability of previous versions, with the ability to easily tune it for different types of shooting and situations. With an adjustable hammer spring and an externally-adjustable regulator, a number of different setup options are now possible on an affordable bullpup air rifle without having to purchase additional kits or accessories.
Shooters with a hand pump may prefer a lower-pressure, lower-power setup that doesn't require as much effort to fill, whereas people with high-pressure compressors may favor a high-power setup that fully utilizes the maximum regulator pressure of 3000 PSI. Regardless of the specific tuning choices, the Avenger Bullpup II delivers accurate shots.
The stock has a regulator pressure gauge on the right side and a fill pressure gauge on the left side to make it easy to adjust the airgun and to monitor the performance of each shot. A smooth sidelever provides simple and consistent cocking and operation, and the two-stage adjustable trigger allows shooters to get the exact break desired for maximum accuracy.
To get an airgun known for its incredible accuracy and tuning features, now with a shorter compact stock, buy the Air Venturi Avenger Bullpup II Regulated PCP Air Rifle at Pyramyd AIR today.
Tech Tip: For those purchasing our 20 for $20 service with this rifle, please note that either case will work if you are using low or medium rings with your scope. If you are using high rings, please select the Flambeau case to avoid any fit issues.

10 of 86 Air Venturi Avenger Bullpup II Reviews
This is an awesome gun, I've been looking for a gun to hunt pigeons, bought 3 guns before this one they all said they could take out pigeons, no problem, they knocked the pigeon down and I'd have to chase it around to finish the job. Not with the avenger
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing
What Others Should KnowYou will not be disappointed, I spent 800.00 on guns before I found this one. Had id known I would have saved 400.00
Love the compact overall length and convenient tuning without removing the stock the forward mounted cocking lever multi shot magazine ,adjustable buttstock and cheek riser ,pik rails and on board mag holders are a great touch
Things I Would Have ChangedOnly thing I would change is the bottom pik rail needs to be beefed up if you mount a tripod to it there is a lot of side to side flex which effect accurate shooting
What Others Should KnowGreat compact entry level budget high feature PCP you won't regret buying one
1.Compact design makes it easy to maneuver in a ground blind. 2. The power--I'm used to .22 PCP's and the impact of the .25 gun surprised me. It smacks targets with much more power. I can't wait to try it on game.
Things I Would Have ChangedThe trigger really sucks. I've adjusted it as far as I can without modifying the linkage or trigger assembly. Even though it is a light trigger the second stage is a long slow creep until it fires. It takes some getting used to, but it is manageable.
What Others Should KnowVery accurate once you master the trigger. The scope rail is low and requires extra high mounts if you use a 50mm front objective scope.
I'm not a hunter, I down tuned this for 25 yards and maximum shots. My regulator is approximately 1600 psi. My hammer spring is 2 full turns from minimum, and I'm shooting JSB Exact Diablo 8.44 grain. A full fill from an inexpensive Vevor to 4300 psi, I got 110 regulated shots. This is a 1 ragged hole tac driver. It's also light enough and well balanced enough for an inexperienced shooter like me to hit the bull shooting off hand. I honestly was impressed.
Things I Would Have ChangedLove it as is.
What Others Should KnowFactory standard, I think it's loud. I added the DonnyFL extender and the Tanto moderator and this is a very comfortable PFFF.
This rifle is incredible. It's my first PCP and is far beyond my expectations. I love the ability to tune the regulator, hammer spring, and trigger externally. I'm left handed and although it's not changeable, the cocking lever is in a decent location that I can easily use; also the magazine doesn't rise up into my face. The scope rail position, both height and length, and great to mount an optic with proper eye relief. Also, the power/energy is great. I chose 25 caliber for this reason and it didn't disappoint. My pest issues are nicely dealt with.
Things I Would Have ChangedThere are only a few small things I would change. The main isn't big but I'd prefer different; the front picatinny for bipod connection. This small rail is plastic and built/molded into the front stock section. Not it's own piece. I would prefer the ability to remove and replace with a metal more secure rail as on bipod is a bit loose. Truly not bad but I had to pick something I'd change and there really isn't much.
What Others Should KnowAir Venturi support is amazing. My regulator failed after a few months. I got a real human call back within a couple hours. They gave me a few options. I chose to send it in. I had it back in about 2 weeks and it's fine ever since. I've also needed help on a few other things (just personal things not problems) and tech support always replies within a day or so.
The power, accuracy, and the ease of adjusting the regulator.
Things I Would Have ChangedOffer a wooden stock for it. But absolutely zero complaints at all.
What Others Should KnowI bumped my regulator up to 2600. Using Apolo slugs, as well as Hades pellets, it is a lights out trash panda stopper. It is way overkill on the grey tree rats, but extremely effective. My max shooting distance is 45ish yards, and that's what I have it dialed in for. The accuracy is dead solid at this distance.
Lightness and the accuracy
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing
What Others Should KnowTake advantage of the testing for air leaks and the other test they offer before they ship it to you
Over the last six months we have purchased seven different configurations of carbines and rifles. Rating the bullpup at the highest of these. This review will save you alot of headaches trying to find the perfect airgun at an affordable price.
Things I Would Have ChangedI would love to see an available hard case.
What Others Should KnowWant a fun gun? Buy this. Shoots 50 rounds on target!
I have the .177 old style and the .25 new style they two of the most accurate air rifles for the price that I have out of all the air rifles I have.
Things I Would Have ChangedI would like to use the high Capacity magazine with the new style bullpup

Its weight is evenly distributed for it being a little on the heavier side. I get a great shot count (depending on my tune) Love that you can attach a moderator with DonnyFL adapter. Trigger is very predictable. sidelever cocking is smooth. The regulator in mine works super great, getting very consistent numbers. Not too pellet picky. It is very percise, whether it's out of the box, cleaned, lead seasoned, it's always on target.
Things I Would Have ChangedThe ONLY "issue" I have with it is that it could be too loud for backyard use in urban areas. Even with the DonnyFL adapter with my moderator, there's a certain sound it gives off that can be perceived as loud. As with any bullpup, it could be the action near the rear of the rifle that amplifies the "loudness", but then again, there's no such thing as John Wick quiet.
What Others Should KnowMy AV Avenger Bullpup Gen 2 is just flat out AMAZING. I've owned several different PCPs, each one is top of the line but the value you get out of this bullpup for the price is just incredible. Everyone's air rifle is going to perform differently, anyone that's spent any length of time shooting air guns knows this. All I know is that I have the most fun with this one. Some other rifles are from guys like FX, Taipan, JTS, AEA, UMAREX, and I always find myself instinctively reaching for this one every single time.
