AV 3000PSI 13ci Tank & valve 1100psi set

Game changer, especially for the Sig MCX Gen 2. I was going to buy a second one anyway, so I did. Here is how you know when not to try to overcharge past 3k: the high-pressure relief valve "pops," and then you need just that tiny safety feature. It is good that it is there, but a PIA issue if you kill it. A second unit will be needed to continue until a replacement valve is located.. I have a 12g cart adaptor for just such an occasion. Because there is no way I was ever going to power this thing with 80-90 g carts.

Works well until it doesn't, it developed a leak in th center of the fill valve

Should use a standard fill valve, the one in my unit is a non-standard size and I cannot source a replacement.

I thought it has British straight threads, but the replacement I obtained has a slightly larger diameter. Mine measures 0.370" major diameter, the straight section measures 0.264". My valve has no spring, which is strange. The fitting shown int the current Owners Manual shows a hex type tapered pipe thread. Does anybody know where to get a replacement?

Exactly what I needed. At a good price too.

The inlet/fill nipple is leaking slowly on my first check fill to 3000 psi. (It's down to 1500 psi in 10 days. I'll wait for another 2 fills to see if the check valve will seat in and hold.

Size fits smaller/slimmer applications. Nice gauge.

The build quality.

I have had it for about 2 years and used it very little. I went to fill it today as it had leaked down to zero over the past year. I filled it up and it immediately started leaking down. I traced it down to a leaking Foster fitting. I removed the foster nipple and the o-ring that AV uses for the check valve has to be the worst that you can possibly get. It was hardened and literally crumbled off into dust. I have heard they charge $30 bucks for a new fitting. Planned failure for profit? I will be replacing the o-ring with a quality one once I determine the exact size.

This is a great tank at a amazing price it is my second tank I have purchased both to replace inferior tank pyramid by far is superior

It didn't hold air they sent a replacement and it didn't hold air either. It's under warranty so I had to mail it back in for repairs. They say it'll take 4 to 6 weeks. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

It would actually hold air. It wouldn't be a faulty unit!

This was a waist of time and money. When you purchase a tank you at least want it to be able to perform it's primary function and that is to hold air.
