Barra 400E Polymer BB Rifle

Need help, mine is defective and waiting on email back

Shockingly great! I bought the precision barrel at the same time and couldn’t be happier. This thing is a tack driver, but use Barra BBs. I’ve tried the black BBs and other plated. They often jam. The Barra BBs eliminate that headache. This was purchased to use with my grandsons but I’m having a blast too! Also don’t buy the 100 round magazine. It’s made of plastic and jams. The metal 50 round mags are better.

After watching YouTube videos, I purchased this gun. Out of the box, I was amazed at the overall quality and workmanship of this gun. It is well put together and the sights are awesome. I ordered the polymer because of the weight factor since I’ll probably be mounting a scope and maybe a light. This definitely is the most fun you can have with clothes on!

built very solid. looks like a real gun. mechanism is louder than expected or researched (decibels). not as accurate as shown in videos watched. spring attached to charging handle stretched out...waiting on replacement... spring appears not to have been tempered correctly. there's a tiny barrel shaped magnet in the 'hopup assembly', the plastic area where the bb's feed into the chamber, that is not secured...it simply falls out. it causes the bb's to not feed consistently. reinstalling the magnet requires disassembly, which then results in the charging handle spring to stretch out. some kind of glue or melting the plastic around the top of the hole where the magnet is placed is required to keep it from falling out. crappy design. waiting on cutomer service to provide warranty parts replacement or repair.

A friend of mine let me shoot this gun it was great. I got one and it's even more fun then I was expecting. I got about 3000 rounds though it no problems so far. Would have liked to have gotten a 100 round mag. but still 5 stars anyway.

Magazines are horrible. I bought an extra one and both have feed and seating problems. If not for that I would rate 5 stars

Well, I wish I read a couple more reviews. I went with some YouTube videos and everybody raved about it but once I got it and loaded it, I really doubt that it’s 430 ft./s. Maybe at 5 feet. I think I got a bad gun. Does not compare to the exact same ones I’ve seen online YouTube. I’m going to reach out to the company and ask them if there’s something that I can do to at least make it as powerful as the box says. I shot a full water bottle with a fresh battery and 50 rounds, half of them bounced off, the other half went in and didn’t come out the other side. My Crosman 760 with one pump blew right through the bottle. Line I said, not impressed. I’ll see what Barra says. Keep on shooting!
