The Barra 400e Polymer Full Auto BB Rifle is budget friendly brother to the 400e Gen 2. By replacing the upper, lower, handguard, and faux suppressor with polymer materials, Barra is able to offer a lighter and more affordable option to the original 400e Gen 2 without sacrificing performance.
This BB rifle receives all of its power from a Lithium Polymer (LiPo) battery. It reaches velocities up to 430 FPS and a cyclic rate of approximately 550 rounds per minute (RPM) to deliver intense action and limitless enjoyment for plinking and fun target practice.
The heart of this BB gun is the Lithium Polymer battery that provides consistent power and operation compared to the CO2 cartridges found in competing airguns, meaning it performs well over long shooting sessions and in a variety of temperatures. With the ambidextrous select-fire switch, this BB gun easily shifts from semi-auto to full-auto (and safe mode), allowing shooters to either get semi-auto shots for careful placement, or to empty the 50-round magazine in just over five seconds with exciting full-auto shots.
The Barra 400e Polymer Full Auto includes flip up front and rear sights that can be removed and repositioned. In addition, the rear peep sight is adjustable for windage, and the BB gun has a long Picatinny optics rail for adding a scope. To provide further options, the Polymer handguard has M-LOK slots on the bottom and both sides for accessories such as bipods, flashlights, and lasers.
This BB gun has an AR-style textured pistol grip and a custom 6-position adjustable butt stock for variable length of pull. For convenience, the butt stock includes a quick-disconnect sling mount, and the package comes with both a balanced battery charger and a speed loader to make filling the magazine simple.

Well, I wish I read a couple more reviews. I went with some YouTube videos and everybody raved about it but once I got it and loaded it, I really doubt that it’s 430 ft./s. Maybe at 5 feet. I think I got a bad gun. Does not compare to the exact same ones I’ve seen online YouTube. I’m going to reach out to the company and ask them if there’s something that I can do to at least make it as powerful as the box says. I shot a full water bottle with a fresh battery and 50 rounds, half of them bounced off, the other half went in and didn’t come out the other side. My Crosman 760 with one pump blew right through the bottle. Line I said, not impressed. I’ll see what Barra says. Keep on shooting!

Split the gen1 and gen 2 barrels by taken apart the center pin and switching them. I now get over 500 fps from new one and 375 out of short one.

I can honestly say I am impressed with the quality of this pellet gun, the look and feel is really good, not to mention light weight, found the accuracy to be really good, nice design for selecting lock, single and full auto. I laughed when researching this gun, seeing others shooting in full auto seemed fun and entertaining, honestly it really is! I would agree others about the sight on this gun as the green viewer with large sight is a little distracting not to mention covers the object you are firing at. I didnt find the loader to be smoothest of quality but it does what it’s suppose to do. If wasn’t for these two things, I would have given 5 stars.
