Barra 400E Polymer BB Rifle

I bought this for my some about a month ago and I ended up shooting more than he does. This thing is awesome

Split the gen1 and gen 2 barrels by taken apart the center pin and switching them. I now get over 500 fps from new one and 375 out of short one.

I received this rifle in the mail today and am truly Loving it. Stylish and versatile. I have some pesky squirrels that are driving my dogs crazy, the full automatic ensures that they don't get away. Keep up the good work.

I can honestly say I am impressed with the quality of this pellet gun, the look and feel is really good, not to mention light weight, found the accuracy to be really good, nice design for selecting lock, single and full auto. I laughed when researching this gun, seeing others shooting in full auto seemed fun and entertaining, honestly it really is! I would agree others about the sight on this gun as the green viewer with large sight is a little distracting not to mention covers the object you are firing at. I didnt find the loader to be smoothest of quality but it does what it’s suppose to do. If wasn’t for these two things, I would have given 5 stars.

Am I the only the only person to the BEST use of this gun? Sure it's: - fun to plink with in either single or fully auto mode. - nice to not take the time/effort to change out CO2 cartridges. - good looking, well made, reasonably priced. But here's why I bought it. Outfit it with an under barrel M-lok green laser/strobe and keep it under the bed next to my Glock. If someone breaks into my home at night I can use the 400e on full-auto to distract them with a barrage of BBs to the face while I assess the true threat. If they keep coming I've got the Glock. If they turn and run, I haven't killed anyone, just ruined their day. Makes perfect sense to me. The ultimate 'non-lethal' weapon for home defense use.

More fun than this 70 year old has had with a BB gun in 60+ years. Rock solid accurate in semi auto mode but WAY More FUN in auto.

Fun..baught 3 lol...we need mods to get it up to 700fps and it would be perfect....Super fun non the less..suprisingly accurate at 15 yards...

Yes I have recently Got it out and have checked it on and seems to be in good shape nice quality I wish I could have got the medal but this isn't bad period I would definitely recommend it As it is a good product and I think there is much fun and entertainment to be had period Now you can make one that's equal to a 22 I'd be real happy.

I have shot about 3000 rounds out of this and just love it. The battery last a long time I easily get over 1300 shots per charge. It comes with a 100 round mag which if you're using a full auto with just 25 or 50 rounds per load it just doesn’t deliver the same smile factor as you get from a 100 round mag. IMHO 25-50 rounds in full auto is for kids under 5 yo. 100 rounds mags give bigger smiles. Barra doesn’t give much instruction as to how to keep battery charged. The battery has some limitation and caveats that’s allow me to fire so many rounds. I learned about these type of batteries after I got it and I use a volt meter to tend its charge. If you charge to early or too late your round count may drop. I think 3.7 v is the key and you must multitude it by three because there are 3 cells in it. So that means your max charge should be over about 11.1 v. Then you can’t let the charge drop below 3.0x3 =9v. Now if you let this battery drop to low it won’t ever charge back to a capacity of 1300-1500 round shot. This maybe why Barra is limiting shot count to 1000. My numbers maybe skewed as i in try to remember this all as I’m 3000 miles from my gun and notes but I remember you need to read up on that little battery. I wouldn’t store the battery in the gun for long also. This way when I plug it back into gun and if I left at 600rounds shot then I got about 700 left. But if I leave battery in for a couple weeks it would fall off to1000 and maybe less. Not sure. Barra should have added more instructions for battery. From what I can tell with some of these air gun manufacturing instructions is they usually are designed in USA but instructions are not written very good English. Therefore many of these air gun instructions get a stare from me like my dog makes at TV once she hears opera music, head cocked and eyes glassed over. But with all that said everyone who has shot it at my home always wants to shot it more from 8yo to 80yo. Trend to your battery for max shot count.
