Bear Grizzly Traditional Bow

Excellent bow. The Grizzly Recurve Bow is a classic.

Nothing to dislike about Bear archery bows and products. . I'm 70 and proudly bought my first Grizzly bow back in the 80's and currently own both vintage Bear Kodiak's, Grizzly, super mag 48 and Montana long bow. . as well as newer models of all. Bear has been a big part of my life in Archery and I will continue to be a loyal customer

I love my Bear Grizzly! It's a 50# 2021 model and shoots like a dream! One of these days I'll get me a Kodiak Magnum, but for now, I'm happy with the Grizzly, the working man's bow!

By far my favorite bow ! Powerful, silent, well balanced. . . I bought it back in 2016, and got various bows since then, which I like very much. But this one. . .

I only recently got into archery but this bow is significantly better than my previous bows. Smooth firing, accurate, and good looking bow; can't recommend highly enough

I just today purchased my new Grizzly . I'm 55 and a little on the heavy side. B&B archery here in Mississippi strung it up and turned me loose on there range. I would never have believed I could group arrows that well with a recurve bow. Thank You Bear Archery for the outstanding and timeless Quality. Thanks To B&B archery for having it in stock to try and for all the help and advice. To say I'm excited for archery season is an understatement .

Its been fun to shoot. I am a little disappointed it doesn't come with a stringer though.

Bought a 45# Grizzly at a local sport shop and was immediately blown away by its beauty. Shoots wonderful for a beginner or expert a like, especially with the Easton Carbon Legacy 400g with 100g target points. One thing I will note, which may not be the fault of Bear, but rather the shop that sold it, is the brace height was way off at purchase (it was just under 5") and this resulted in the bow string hitting me right at the base of my thumb where my hand meets my wrist (ouch). A different shop gave the string a couple twists at either end, reset the nock point, and got the brace height to about 8", which not only completely fixed the hitting my hand issue, but it also put an extra ten or so pounds of draw weight on the bow and made it shoot much faster and more consistently. Really happy with the purchase I made, the bow itself and the string that came with it are very high quality and feel great in the hands. Would highly recommend for beginners!

I just picked up a Grizzly in 40#. My mistake in the past has always been to get "too much bow". This time I did it right and can see no problem c.eanly taking deer with this. I have a 29" draw, maybe 29 1/2, and notice zero stacking--smooth all the way back. Quiet, with minimal hand shock. I know there are a lot more expensive bows out there but I see no down side to this bow.

I've had this bow since I was fifteen years old, I'm twenty-six now and still love it. My father got it for me as a Christmas present and I've had it ever since. It is a 50lb, plenty enough to put down most animals in North America. I stopped hunting with it when I left for college but I've since rediscovered my passion for traditional archery. It still shoots fantastic, just like I remembered. I plan on hunting with it this upcoming season for deer and bear in North Georgia, maybe Montana if time allows. If you buy a bow, buy a Bear.
