Description

The Beeman Raider PCP Air Rifle is a very affordable way to get started with pre-charged pneumatic air guns, with the features and options to offer a convenient and simple shooting experience. Reaching velocities of up to 1050 FPS in .177, 900 FPS in .22, and 800 FPS in .25, this air rifle has the needed power and accuracy for plinking, pest control, and small-game hunting.

This air rifle has an attractive and durable hardwood stock not often found on air guns at this price point, lending it a classic look and feel, as well as a textured rubber buttpad for control and comfort. The Beeman Raider PCP Air Rifle is an excellent choice for hunting small game, such as squirrels and rabbits, or pest control, including groundhogs.

The Beeman Raider is powered by an air cylinder that fills to 3500 PSI (241 BAR) to provide an ample number of shots per fill, and the shrouded barrel and noise reduction system combine to offer a lower sound level than competing air rifles. In addition, the integrated fill pressure gauge located on the bottom of the forearm allows for simple monitoring of the fill pressure.

In order to deliver accurate sighting options without requiring additional purchases, this air rifle includes a hooded fixed front fiber optic sight and a rear sight that adjusts for both windage and elevation. It also has an 11mm dovetail optics rail that enables the attachment of a scope or other optics to improve aiming at longer distances.

To get an air gun with features designed for ease of use for straightforward pest control, plinking, and small-game hunting, buy the Beeman Raider PCP Air Rifle today at Pyramyd AIR.

My .25 Raider is a most impressive piece of equipment considering how inexpensive it is. I have owned about a dozen PCPs and still possess perhaps 10 of them, and yet I wanted a .25 that did not require a scope and had functional sites. This Beeman Raider fits that bill nicely. It’s quite accurate and easy for me to keep on target with the out of the box trigger. Impressive that it comes with two highly functional magazines, and two single shot trays. Winner! Winner!

I have read many critical reviews of this product and was most appreciative that what I received was far superior to that which I had been cautioned about. Holds air. Accurate. Well balanced.

When I first got it I liked the size , weight , traditional Monte Carlo stock over the SWAT type rifle stock and adjustable velocity via hammer spring and quietness.

better quality control.

Right after airing it up and shooting , I was not getting even close to recommended shot count. I tried to put the fill port dust cap on and it kept popping off. I thought it was just the rubber 0 ring. I filled it up with air and locked it away. The next day it was empty of all air. So I pumped it up and checked for leaks and heard air escaping from the foster male quick disconnect fitting. I've read other people have fixed this problem by repeatedly filling it to max pressure with air. But if that doesn't work I would like to exchange it for a better quality product.I hope Pyramyd Air helps me out.

Awesome little rifle super fun to shoot and great for pest control and bird hunting

I would change the way the bolt works its kind of confusing at first and super easy to double feed rounds

This thing does not have a medium loudness and infact i reccomend wearing ear plugs if you're going to be shooting this rifle all day because the beeman raider is LOUD i highly reccomend the moderators of this website correct that

Cost, construction, easy to fill.

QC is sorely lacking

I really want to like this rifle. I purchased information first pcp for my nephew. Unfortunately there appears to be serious issues with the barrel. No pellets or slugs would stabilize regardless of power settings. Zero would change drastically with range and slow motion camera footage revealed every projectile would yaw severely in flight and corkscrew around the point of aim. The crown was very crude so I recrowned it, hoping it would correct the issue and unfortunately the issue remains. Borescope reveals very inconsistent rifling with varying land and grove dimensions with the lands completely disappearing at one point. Some people get good ones. Unfortunately I did not. Being a home machinist and gunsmith I will be installing an FX liner to correct the issue. The rest of the gun isn't bad although it could definitely use a regulator but the barrel issue in mine unfortunately makes it a paperweight until I can install a liner and at that point I'm adding over $100 to the cost.

The wood stock is actually real wood and it is beautiful. This gun is nicely balanced due to the smaller size and longer length of the tank. Some PCPs I have handled are hopelessly front-heavy, but not this one! For an unregulated air gun, it is remarkably consistent: up to 48 shots all hit at about the same height. After 48 shots, the pellets basically fall out of the barrel. Fiberoptics on the open sites are a nice touch. No problems with the bolt

A nice light gun like this that makes you want to get out in the woods, walk around, and hunt with it should have places to attach a sling! A slightly larger tank would be nice. The fill port is in a bad spot where it is difficult but not impossible to get the hose from my compressor attached. Better open sights would be nice. There is a ton of play in the rear site to where it is basically unusable. If you tip the gun to one side or the other, the windage and elevation change. With a well-zeroed optic, the accuracy is fine. The bore axis is so low that I had to remove the rear site in order to get my scope to sit in a reasonable position. The rail on top is pretty short so there are limited places to mount the scope rings. Magazines are a little hard to load and there is a shot counter (nice) but there are two viewing windows for some reason, so you still aren't sure what shot you're on/how many are remaining.

Properly configured, the accuracy is acceptable. You aren't going to win any competitions with it, but it will do for pest control and target practice at 30ish yards. Max shot count is wildly incorrect. I have to .177 version and I get almost exactly 48 real shots per fill, after which is abruptly starts making farting noises and pellets trickle out of the barrel. If you don't shoot next to a compressor, you'll want a to buy a scuba tank, too. The report is pretty loud, so this is not ideal for every backyard range situation. Put your thumb on the rear of the breech when running the bolt because the spring is very heavy

For the price, everything. Folks you can shoot 50.gn. N.O.E. cast slugs accurately beyond fifty yards.(560fps or 34.8fpe)

Nothing, well maybe a lighter trigger pull.

This is a great starter airgun IMO. If you choose to shoot 50g. slugs, go with a mil dot reticle, this gun deserves it!
