Blocker Silentec Jacket MO Bottomland 2X-Large, XXL, Mossy Oak Bottomlands

Bought this jacket last yr to give it a try. It instantly became my go to hunting jacket Doesn’t get extremely cold in Ohio, but last season we had several days of zero deg mornings This jacket handled the temps without issue

Let me start with saying that overall I like the Silentec jacket and pants, but these are not the quality clothes that were once Scent Blocker. My old gear was 16yrs old, nothing wrong with the jacket other than the zipper handle broke...zipper still worked fine, and after 16yrs 2 pockets in the pants had ripped seams. This new outfit, meh. The material is super soft and quiet and comfortable, I ordered the medium and it fit perfectly if I wasn't wearing anything under it, but since I like to layer and wear my Hunter Safety System vest under my jacket I had to send it back and I got an extra large. Fits great now for layering EXCEPT for the fact the right sleeve is an inch shorter than the left, leaves me with skin exposed between my glove and end of sleeve...left side is perfect. I'm not sending it back again, I'll live with it. The other thing that tells me the quality isn't the same as the old versions, just putting them on you have to be careful not to stretch them as you hear stitching break pretty easily even if you're not tugging on the seams to bad....like just pulling the pant leg up to slide down over my boot. No doubt this set won't last 16yrs like the old ones...I believe the old ones were made in the USA, new ones in Taiwan ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Light enough to move around with comfort and heavy enough to stay warm. I really like that's it's not baggy as most hunting clothes are. I'll use this early season michigan.

I'm 6'1-6'2 and 215 with a slight beer gut. the Large fits great over a t-shirt, but there would still be room to wear something a little bulkier underneath, like a quarter zip or something similar. I also bought the matching pants. The suit is great, super comfortable and quiet. I bought the set to use for Sept/Oct whitetail bow season in WI. should be nice and comfy for Sept, and I think I'd probably need to add an extra layer for chillier Oct mornings and evenings. I'm not sure the material would hold up in rugged terrain/dense foliage, but for a walk out to a deer stand or a lite stalk it will be perfectly fine.

Bought and returned. Really like the Mossy Oak Bottomland pattern. Really need a shock cord at the bottom hem of the jacket and another chest pocket. This is a thin jacket but with missing those two features and no water or wind protection made it a no go for me.

Love this Jacket and pant combo. Great for the crisp cool mornings when paired with proper base layers. Love how quiet they are with movement, and form fitting so nothing gets fetched up on bow strings or saddle gear.

I just bought this jacket this fall. I hunt in western Texas Pecos county. And very pleased with the jacket warmth in the open plains. Light to carry as well in my back pack. Excellent in movement when aiming my rifle. And true to its name,Silentec.

Awesome,love blocker.i get all my gear from them.i usually order a small,I'm a twig lol but I got a medium because small wasn't in stock, and it fit like a glove,material is soft. Definitely a good mid season piece when it starts to cool down,would work good for late season also,if you had something like the wooltex vest or something else slightly heavy

It's a great early to mid season layer for NY. I generally wear base layers during mid season in NY but if your a heavier guy you may not need to. Feels like I'm wearing PJ's they're so comfortable. Fit is perfect. I have two in different camo patterns because they're just that nice!
