I’m running the AR-PEPR QD mount with a 4–16 optic on my AR, and it’s been rock solid so far. I chose the quick-detach version specifically so I can swap over to a thermal quickly when needed, and the system makes that transition fast and hassle-free. Although I haven’t formally tested return-to-zero yet, I can say the mount has held zero perfectly since installation. The lockup is tight, secure, and inspires confidence no shifting or loosening even with hard use. This mount is built heavy duty. My rifles are duty rifles that get banged around regularly, and the AR PEPR has handled the abuse without issue. It’s not the lightest option out there, but the durability and stability more than make up for the extra weight. The only negative I’ve encountered is the tiny ring screws can vibrate loose over time. After applying a small amount of blue Loctite, I haven’t had a single issue since. Pros: -Solid lockup with QD levers -Holds zero under hard use -Easy optic swaps (ideal for switching to thermal) -Extremely durable construction Cons: -Heavier than some lightweight mounts -Ring screws may loosen without threadlocker Bottom line: If you need a rugged, dependable QD mount that can handle real world use and quick optic changes, the AR PEPR delivers. With a touch of Loctite on the ring screws, it’s been completely reliable. Highly recommended.

I picked this up to add a Vortex Optics Strike Eagle to my .22 LR. I was very happy with the overall fit, and didn't feel the need to lap the rings to get the scope to fit properly. The height is designed for an AR-15 and it would work great for that as well. Overall, it's a good value for the cost, especially if you don't want to spend a lot on the mount.

Exceptional craftsmanship and durability. The quick-detach design is a significant advantage, allowing effortless removal and reinstallation when switching optics. Once reattached, the rings reliably maintain zero, making them an excellent choice for shooters who value both flexibility and repeatable accuracy.

This is a solid entry level mount that I have had mounted on one of my AR’s to hold a Vortex LPVO. I use the optic and rifle to compete in 2-Gun competitions, so it puts up with a decent amount of abuse and this far has held zero. It’s not the lightest mount, nor is it the most feature rich, but it’s a solid no frills mount that holds zero. No complaints.

More than adequate for any AR style platform. great repeatability when removing and replacing back on the firearm. Locking system took a second to get used to, but it is great for creating the same tension every time. I now own 2 on two different firearms due to how easy it is to put on and off. Works for pros and beginners alike.

This mount is solid with good machining, when I installed it on a 6mm ARC AR it didn't require any lapping at all for a nice tight lockup on my Vortex scope. I like that it has picatinny caps with it so that mounting a backup sight is easy out of the box. It is heavy as others have stated.
