Our Counter TAC boot knives were designed with one simple philosophy in mind. Functionality. Quite simply - they work, and they excel at what they do! Their sharp, AUS 8A full-tang blades are vacuum heat treated, and sub-zero quenched for strength and durability. The ergonomic design of the Kray-Ex handle is comfortable and adaptable to any grip, and the deeply textured surface and double guard will insure that the knife is not likely to slip from your hand under any circumstances. Finally, each Counter TAC is shipped with a state of the art Secure-Ex sheath, complete with a removable boot/belt clip and lashing slots so you can carry it just about anywhere.

The C Tac ll is an excellent blade for concealment,self defense purpose,I am 100 percent satisfied with the order I made, will continue to buy from Cold Steel in the future..
As advertised, this is a short tactical knife, double-edged. As such it is a great asset when a longer knife could result in you stabbing or cutting into yourself. The knife is truly small –my pinky finger barely contacts the handle, so it has to be practiced as such.
The knife itself seems fine but I haven’t put the steel to much use. I still carry it some days because it’s small and lightweight but the handle is a little small and doesn’t provide the best grip. Overall I’d recommend especially if you have smaller hands. The clip on the sheath falls a little short as well. I’ve pulled it off my belt a couple times when trying to deploy the knife.

The picture is misleading. Depending on who you are, either very misleading or a minimum disingenuous. Long story short, there is no picture of the back side. But I hear you ask "why do you need a picture of the back side unless the back side wasn't the same" in which you'd be correct. The back side is completely and perfectly flat. Almost like they only made the front half of the knife. And I wouldn't be as upset about it had there been something in the product descriptions (there isn't, I double checked) or a photo of the back side. Something that didn't make me feel a little cheated. That being said. It seems like a great knife. Minus the not being symmetrical thing.
