Cold Steel SRK (SK-5), Black, Right, Fixed Blade

Perfect nice to have Fitz grid in your hand very sharp, perfect length and lightweight, which is perfect and very well made, perfect weapon to have in the field!

Just at the knife I was looking for. It didn’t disappoint.

I bought a Cold Steel SRK in SK-5 some time ago in the Czech Republic (Europe). I miss the previous front finger grip. The unsharpened part is ideal for smaller jobs. The utility of this knife has decreased. The knife is too light, overall it is short. I would like it to be 7" long, like the Recon Tanto. The SK-5 is bad. The best is the CPM 3V.

I’ve and this knife since 2005 when I purchased it from the MCX on the Al Asad Airbase in Iraq. Not as bulky as the U.S.M.C. Bayonet I was issued. Well rounded task master of a blade with the surest grip I’ve ever experienced. I still carry and use it weakly.

I bought this knife a few months ago, and since then i have put it through some rigorous testing. 15+ camping trips, 30+ fishing trips, and it is still holding up completely. I have used it to chop fire wood, kill fish, gut fish, make cut bait, and many other uses. Have also used it in saltwater with minimal rust. 100% recommend getting the srk considering after all i have done to it in a short time, i sharpened it last night and its as good as new besides some cosmetic damage and the black coat coming off.

I’ve had my knife since 2003, when I bought it in Germany while training for deployment. I’ve taken the knife all around the world,(Iraq, Bosnia, Afghanistan, Alaska, Turkey, Nigeria, and several other African and Asian countries that I can’t spell. This is the most durable and functional knife I’ve ever owned. Thanks for making a great product. James

This is new. I have had a knife like this since I served in Vietnam from 1966-1971. I have found it a good practice to have one I’ve put it to good use in many applications. It’s good to have one for home defense. High quality and durable.
