Cold Steel Tactical Katana Machete

The fact that the hardness scale is never mentioned is questionable at best ...I love the brand, have a Lynn thompson 6" custom ti-lite that I edc ...but hardness scale is needed for a heavy use tool so im aware of how much time ill need to put another edge on

Definitely a sturdy piece, I was chopping at a tree and managed to hit a horseshoe that was hanging there and it barley chipped the blade

Before I drop hundreds, or even thousands, upon a real katana, I thought this would be a great practice tool.

This Machete meets and beat expectations very nice tool to have in your arsen.if you don't have one get one and the price is great.

I haven’t taken it out and chopped much wood with it but it came out of the box sharp. I’ve thrown it into wood targets causing wide eyes and laughs and the tip is still sharp. The sheath works for carrying it- it’s a bit wonky and hard to deploy the blade quickly but you’re not buying it for the sheath, right?

Very nice 2 handed machete shaped like a Katana. Came very sharp, not shaving sharp, but still very sharp!! Will come in handy this spring for trimming down tall grasses around the house.

This thing is huge and super solid. Overtextured grip gives great purchase even with gloves. Solid sheath. Great quality, great price!

This machete is a beast! Came paper cutting sharp out of the box. The edge is ground straight. There is a small bur on the edge and I stropped it off and now it's shaving sharp! Cuts water bottles ,pool noodles and rolles straw mats like butter. I haven't tried it on wood yet. I lucked out I believe and got one made in South Africa and not China.
