Cold Steel Ti-Lite 6'' Aluminum (S35VN), Right, Pocket Knife

This is an awesome knife. It's profile allows me to slide it into my jean pockets without being too much to carry. People are often surprised that a knife of this size is so easy to conceal.

I received this as a gift from a friend and I love it. The action is crispy, the knife is super sharp, feels good in the hand. I open this knife about 1/3 the way and close it constantly for the sound and feel. Great fidget knife. Carries easy, deploys so clean from the pocket. My buddy modified mine with a little hook for easier waiving from the pocket and beefed up the thumb stud for me. I am super happy with it!

I have had this knife for a few days. It is very cool, fun to deploy and has a very sharp tip if you ever need one. Some things that can be improved - The thumb stud is too short. The screw in the thumb stud is an m2. I bought a much longer m2 and small washers that fit the thumb stud indention and extended the thumb stud by 10 washers. I also put a rubber stopper on top of the extended thumb stud. I am a curious one and did breakdown and reassemble my knife. The nylon washers were difficult to reinstall, and easily deformed during the reinstall. I replaced them with silicon bronze washers. The lock is very stiff, it can be difficult to close at first . The knife itself has a very smooth action out of the box. The knife deploys superbly - it is fast, snappy and convenient. Stowing the knife often requires two hands. I ended up taking a small detailing grinder and taking down the thumb stud divot a few mm and rounding it off. This makes it much easier to close one handed and makes the lock easier and more accessible to your thumb. Its been a couple months and I got around to sanding and polishing it down to the aluminum to match where I worked the grinder and sanded the thumb stud divot. I found rubber screw caps that fit perfect on the thumb stud. The lock has worked itself into a nice tension. It is quick to press and easy enough for consistent 1 handed closing.

I bought this over a year ago, at first I scoffed, it is such a large folder, then I went back to the store and smirked. "Not I!", I proclaimed, so foolish a purchase. Later that day I confirmed that I would never buy such a ridiculous blade. Then I had to get it, the proportions are absurd, the handle, overlarge in even my hands sticking out on either end. It consumed my walking thoughts as I perused other merchants until at last I bought the very thing I had mocked. It does require deep pockets, that handle is stupid large, byt its been my off-work knife since then, going on two and a half years, replacing the nice looking and wholly adequate CRKT I'd been using. There is no NEED to buy this, but once you've seen it in person, well, like the Matrix no can be told how awesome the blade is, you have to see it for yourself. I use it to open boxes mostly, some shrinkwrapped packages, but I am ready for that 0.000000000000001% chance that I may need to defend my people, country, and freedom from extra orifices armed only with this.

I bought this knife within the past month and so far I have no complaints. It was razor sharp right out of the box and can slice through almost anything. Do yourself a favor and just buy it.

This is my daily carry blade. Survived everything I’ve thrown at it so far. Have the big one and the small one. Feels great in hand, holds an edge like no other. Highly suggested.
