Description
The Diana Bandit PCP Air Pistol is a special type of air gun that can be switched from an air pistol to an air rifle because of the included synthetic stock. It is capable of velocities up to 725 FPS in .177 and 630 FPS in .22 and power up to 9.5 FPE in .177 and 12 FPE in .22 to provide the performance necessary for plinking and target practice.
The feature that sets this air gun apart from most others is that it comes with a removable synthetic stock that attaches to the bottom rear of the grip to allow use as a light carbine-style air rifle with a stock and rubber buttpad for added stability and comfort or as an air pistol focused on ease of use.
The Diana Bandit uses a 50cc air cylinder that fills to 2,900 PSI (200 BAR) and combines with the included magazine (9 rounds in .177 and 7 rounds in .22) to offer shooters more time shooting and less time spent reloading and refilling. In addition, this air gun includes a single-shot tray for situations that call for added focus for each shot, and the integrated pressure gauge makes it simple to monitor the fill pressure.
For accurate sighting options without requiring added equipment, this air gun has a fixed blade front sight and a rear notch sight that can be adjusted for both windage and elevation, and the rear sight can be removed to access the 11mm dovetail optics rail.
To get a multipurpose air gun that can convert from an air rifle to an air pistol for accurate target practice and plinking, buy the Diana Bandit PCP Air Pistol from Pyramyd AIR now.

10 of 14 Diana Bandit Black Reviews
Had this gun not leaked I would have kept it. I should have purchased the leak test but instead purchased the 10 for 10 test. The gun cycled every pellet flawlessly. Its super quiet and backyard friendly. I have a tiny backyard and neighbors on all 3 sides and it wasnt an issue. The guns accuracy was decent. At 15 yards I got 1-2" groups with a scope. H&N trophy green were the most consistent 1" pellets. The included pump in the kit was nice.
Things I Would Have ChangedThe iron sights are awful. The mag gets in the way of the rear sight. Trigger is pretty heavy contrary to most videos I watched.
What Others Should KnowThe gun leaked from full to empty in 2-3 hours. Takes about 50-60 pumps to fill it upon first fill. After that it takes about 20 to get from 100 to 200 bar. 150 bar has the best consistency.
The look. Can't go wrong with Black. Nice carrying case. Easy to cook and load.
Things I Would Have ChangedNeeds picatinny rail like everybody else.
What Others Should KnowOpen sights not for everyone. After much research, I ordered a picarinny adapter, and riser to go with a Osark Armament Rino 4X Magnified Optic. Haven't installed the optic yet. If that doesn't work, I have an extra day/night optic (probably overkill) that I'll try.
Pistol failed less than 90 days after purchase. I can pressurize to normal pressure, but after cocking, no air is released from the air pistol.
Things I Would Have ChangedThe handle formation at the bottom is poor.
What Others Should KnowDoes not appear to be a high quality pistol.
Accuracy in .177 is great within 30y and is not pellet picky. I get 18 - 20 (2 mags) good shots from 2900psi to 1400psi. Moderator works amazing and is very backyard friendly. I use it to dispatch pigeons and it does its job perfectly it has waaay more power than expected for a 177 pistol. Its VERY handpump friendly i use a 3 stage handpump and it goes from 100 to 200 in less than 30 pumps. In my opinion its the best starter gun if you get the combo with the handpump. The weight is amazing and it's lighter than my crosman 1377 carabine. Also a great tinker gun and there are alot of mods you can do after some research.
Things I Would Have Changed- The hammer spring could be a bit lighter - The gun was dry out of the box almost no grease. After some silicone spray in the hammer chamber it smoothed out and is not gritty anymore. - The moderator REALLY does not need red Loctite. had to use a torch and heat the thread area and use some kitchen mits........ you get the picture.
What Others Should Know- Have a tube silicone grease and spray on hand before you get the gun.(for maintenance) - If you remove the barrel put some grease on the barrel Orings before you destroy them when you assemble the barrel. Don't forget the brown one. - put some grease on the fill probe orings the first time you fill the gun.
compact and light accurate with open sights
Things I Would Have ChangedProtect the shipping container better where the bolt is positioned against the box the containers must get tossed around.
I have one in .177. It is very light weight and it is very accurate. I have taken several ground squirrels with using open sights and it does the job. I always aim for the head and all my shots were inside of 20 yards.
Things I Would Have ChangedI would like to see an easy to remove moderator.
What Others Should KnowIt is good value for the money. It is relatively quite and is a great garden gun for squirrels. I wanted a small pcp that was quiet and didn't take up too much space, this fit the bill.
Love this unit in 22 caliber. Easy to use with a pump. 30 pumps and it's full with my pump. I get about 21 perfect shots with a fill. I installed a little prysm sight on it and it sightet in doing nickle sized groups at 40 yards using a rest and crossman hollowpoint pellets.Love the light weight. Love the zippered case. My grandchildren love it as well.
Things I Would Have ChangedI would love to see more accessories offered for this unit.
What Others Should KnowWhen mine came, the oring in the charge adapter leaked. A very tiny drop of the silicone oil that came with my pump onto that oring fixed it and it pumped up quickly; and it will hold air... still holding air and it's been over a month. This is a great pesting gun. It will take out squrrels up close or at 40 yards.
I received my Bandit Black on Feb. 24th 2025. First shot it as a pistol sited in easy. Then mounted a Center Point 3x9x40 also easy. Shooting CHP pellets accuracy was better than expected. Next shot CHPs over the chrony the high 687 fps low was 597 over 14 shots. FPE 14.9 to FPE 11.9.
Things I Would Have ChangedThe dust cover was very stiff hard for me to open and close. A small piece of friction tape below the air gauge took care of that. A better shot count would have been nice. The bell
What Others Should KnowThe bell curve is pretty radical pretty much straight up then down.
Light, accurate easy to shoulder
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing
What Others Should Knowif you do not buy it, you will surely miss a real bargain

Light, accurate and quiet
Things I Would Have Changedpcp set up. had to remove the metal sheath protecting the valve connection in order to get a solid seal for the pump to work. after my 4th outing with the rifle, the gas fails to feed from the cocking mechanism to the barrel so the trigger pull is an empty 'tick'.
What Others Should Knowthe overall design is great except for the pcp gas system. it is obviously flawed. was too easy to fail after 4 uses and only pumping the pressure to midway. there was no stress to the rifle and it still failed.
