Finding pluses and minuses with this press for pistol it can't be beat.I had issues with the shell plate and sizing stuck case issue rifle but I repaired it I now use universal holders not the press holder. .The die block issue can be solved with steel set screws and a 1/16 piece of Q-tip stick between the die and set screw locks up with no damage to threads.Use a RCBS ram prime to prime on this press works perfect seems all issues solved.

The Pin for the C- Clamp has broken again. I have already filed a claim for this once and I was kindly sent another press which was awesome but when the same piece breaks again seems like there is some faulty manufacturing now on this piece. Too thin or bad metal. Along side this I have had several aggravating instances where the shell holder slips and my bullet gets stuck in my dies. I did everything possible to lube it so this won't happen as well but the shell hold is too weak to hold the when torque is applied and typically slips every 1 out of 10 times.

I have run less than 500 cartridges through this press and it has failed on many levels. The detent for the handle will never keep the handle secure. The detent screws on the die holders never remain secure and this causes the die to always come out of adjustment with repeated use. The shell holders are perpetually mis-aligned so that you must constantly hold and guide the shell into the die. This slows down processing and risks missing the die center. Most recently the plate that holds the shell holders in their groove in the base of the press had the five screws shear off so the entire press is completely useless now. Avoid this product. All of its flaws lead to highly inaccurate results, constant need for recalibration and manual intervention, and complete failure of the mechanism within an unacceptably short product lifespan

I like the design of the M-Press; now, if we could only get one manufactured well. The screws that hold the shell plate down are ridiculously undersized - probably the metric equivalent of #4-40 x 1/4". The press has no problem with an operation that drives the case up, but if the operation requires downward force - like resizing, the tension pulls up on the shell holder which pulls up on the shell plate, which rips these dainty screws out of the cast iron block. The solution is to drill and tap the shell block for #8-32 x 3/4" screws. How much does the factory in China save by putting in that undersized junk? Also, I had to get replacement shell holders because the pressed-in knobs were slipping and the holders could not be turned. The press has decent leverage but the overall operation has a lot of clunks and clanks. The spent primer tray is undersized and feels fragile, and has a bulge in the center that often allows a spent primer to block the discharge path.

I have had the this press since July 2021. My experience is that every press will have its quirks that you have to be mindful of. This one likes to have the primer catch walk out on me as I am full length sizing rifle cartridges. That being said it does a great job! Especially when putting it under a load - i.e. Full Length Sizing 7mm Mag Cartridges. It absolutely is a breeze on all other reloading tasks and simply laughs at neck sizing. I wasn't sure I was going to like it, but decided to give it a try. Glad it is on my bench. It is a keeper!

So the first one I got the screws that held the plate down pulled out. Frankford sent me a new press great on them. While I re-tapped the holes and put a longer screw in I still give it a five because when it's running it runs great. I use it in conjunction with their bullet seating die set and love it. It is my dedicated seating press so it stays nice and clean super easy to use and consistent. I can't wait for the that big six station to come out. I have the money saved.

Been using it for 10 months. When the press is in “positive stop” configuration I couldn’t get any seating depth consistency at all. In cam over configuration it works well. While using my Forster bench-rest seating did I find I can not thread die in much before the body of the die contacts the top of the press. I can use it but I have to screw in till it almost touches and then screw the micrometer part of the die down almost all the way to get proper seating depth on 6.5 creedmoor. I love the light. Maybe not the best rig for precision?

This press is complete garbage. Using the press to prep for neck trimming resulted in deformed necks. Essentially the ram does not move up perpendicularly to the die so the neck is deformed.

This is the best press I have ever used. Rock solid and accurate

Broke the “universal shell holder” over a year ago and haven’t been able to source a replacement. Presses that use regular shell holders are similar in cost and getting proper shell holders isn’t much more expensive either and I’m my experience they are much stronger.
