Description
The Hawke Vantage IR 3x32 Rimfire Scope is a great optic for popular rimfire cartridges such as .17 HMR, .22 LR, and .22 WMR. Its one-piece construction and one inch tube is nitrogen purged with glass that is coated 11 times to provide a crystal clear sight picture. The capped turrets are adjustable in 1/2 MOA increments to help you get on target with a field of view of 33.3” at 100 yards.
The reticle is illuminated in red or green and has five brightness settings for use in daylight or dusk. It comes with Weaver mounts and flip up lens covers to keep your glass protected when not in use. This scope is eight inches long and only adds 11 ounces to your rig.

I like the fact it comes with rings that are fairly good quality and flip up scope caps. The dot comes in red and green and has good definition. Clicks are nice on adjustment but are not very precise as in 4 clicks one time is not the same as 4 clicks the next time. It is going to be hard to beat for 99 bucks.
I would keep the price low by not including the flip up scope caps or the rings and put that money into upgrading the glass. I have four of Vantage line scopes and 3 of the Airmax line and I assumed the clarity would be on par with the Vantage but it is not. It should be equal. The intensity of the light was not proportional on my scope. 1 click was super bright and the others were all about the same dull brightness.
It's nice and compact and you will have a hard time beating it for the price but manage your expectations as it is not on par with what I am used to on other Hawke scopes.
