NEBO Davinci 1000 Flashlight Gray 100/400/1,000 Lumens White LED

I need to know Exactly where the battery is. Picture is needed for explanation.

I bought the NEBO Davinci 1000 expecting a high-quality flashlight — and it is, once it works. Out of the box, I charged it fully (blue light showed it was ready), but the light wouldn’t turn on at all. I tried everything — different button presses, charging again, looking for lockout mode — nothing worked. Eventually, after a lot of frustration, I discovered there was a plastic tab next to the battery inside the sealed compartment. This was never mentioned in the instructions or packaging. Since it’s a waterproof design, the battery area is extremely tight and hard to open — especially when you don’t even know it needs to be opened. Once I removed the hidden tab and reassembled it, the flashlight finally worked. It’s bright and solidly built, but I shouldn’t have had to go through all that just to turn it on.

Handyman & I have a pile of lights. I have 2 of these, both fairly new. Both charger ports are bad due to poor design. I contacted them for a simple part and they weren't too interested in helping so I'll be avoiding their products in the future.

I have had mine for over 2 years and use it daily. Absolutely love it. Unfortunately today I tried to use it as hammer. Do not do this! May try the 1500 or 2000 model.

Charging port is junk on my DaVinci 1000, so I have to remove battery to charge it. If you are going to use proprietary batteries, make sure you have them available. Specialty battery is not available anywhere

Bought a set of these to use around the farm. One works as advertised and is a great help, BUT the second one had problems from the first time we tried to charge it. Plugging the cord is supposed to bring a "red-light" response but got nothing. Nothing we did could get it to recharge. Documentation is useless to provide possible fixes, nor could dealer explain or refund $$. Don't waste your money.

Durable AND Reliable - Bought two of these Nebo Davinci 1000 flashlights in 2023, for each my vehicles - Now, buying another for my Fiancée’s vehicle - Best and Brightest flashlight ever, due to the 6X Zoom feature…

I have had a Davinci 1000 for 4 months or so, used only a handful of times. The selector ring broke and now won’t come on at all. And warranty doesn’t cover that model SMH!!

Nebo Davinci 1000 - Took a while, but found the way to open to remove battery shield. Hold Zoom/selector end and barrel. Unscrew barrel from head. The battery slides out. Battery shield is inside barrel. See picture.

Love this flashlight. The dial mode control is awesome! The throw distance is impressive and the quality is outstanding.
