The Primos The Freak is a specialized friction call featuring a high-performance Frictionite surface designed for one-handed operation. This proprietary synthetic material provides the realism of slate with increased weather resistance and higher-pitched, aggressive tones. The unique design includes a strap for mounting the low-profile plastic pot directly to your leg or gun stock, allowing for minimal movement while producing soft purrs, yelps, or loud cuts. Each call comes with a custom hardwood striker specifically balanced to "grab" the Frictionite surface, enabling hunters to deliver the perfect raspy "boss hen" break to finish distant tom turkeys. I have had the freak #210 for close to 16 years. it’s the only slate I will ever use hands down love it have 1 extra I found 5years ago just in case.
