RAW HM1000X Chassis Rifle, No Shroud

It can top off my 2 L bottles from 4000 psi to 4500 psi in about six minutes. It's relatively quiet, about 75 dB at a low frequency. It does not vibrate excessively. I've had similar looking compressors walk all over my floor due to vibration. I did top off a 6.8 L scuba tank from about 3500 psi to 4500 psi, and that took about 40 minutes. When I feel a 6.8 L tank or anything more than 2 L or use a larger dual cylinder compressor. With the RovAir I can top up my PCPs from about 3500 psi to 4500 psi in just a few minutes. It seems very well-made, and even though it's a lot more expensive than the normal "lunchbox" compressors, I find it to be a good value.

I can't think of anything special that you should or a buyer should know except if you want some thing that can really feel the bottle up to 2 L or so and you don't want to spend $2000, this is your go-to. I personally have made the mistake of taking the bait for a $200-$300 compressor and it was a waste of my money in time, unless you're just filling a gun directly, with a 500 cc tank. Learn from my hard lesson and buy this RovAir for a no-hassle, never disappointing, filling experience.

Accurate. "Accurate" means "Accurate", not "usually accurate". No need for superlatives because at 50 yards, I literally get 1/2" or better groups with AEA 45gn pellets at 888 fps and factory tune. It's not usual for me to except the factory tune, but in all ways, The RAW HM100X in .30 is superb, flawless (IMHO). I can only shoot at 50 yards in my backyard, which I do every day for two or three hours however, I am in a competition next week, benchrest competition and I'm using this PCP. So I'm going to the range today, and public range about an hour away to shoot at 100 yards and I'll be doing that maybe, hopefully a couple of times this week before the competition. You probably already know that many PCP rifles shoot superbly at 50 yards but beyond that, the pellet seems to go crazy. I found that out the hard way with my FX King, with the wrong liner shooting pellets, but I digress. I'll update this review after I shoot it at 100 yards. Trigger has been described as "Jewelry".

Many owners of PCPs tune they're going to try to obtain optimal performance with the pellet or slug of their choice. It's hard for me to accept, but I do, that the 30 caliber version of the HMX1000X comes perfectly (IMHO) tuned for a 45gn or 33.75gn AEA or JSB pellet. It's unusual for me on a quality PCP not to have a regulator gauge or externally, adjustable regulator, but RAW actually knows best.

Accuracy, reliability, "precision" in every aspect. I had no problem, adding a short Picatinny rail to the bottom MLOK slots and I mounted a Leapers/UTG Bipod on it. I did order the optional extended lower ARCA rail. I usually buy everything I shoot at Pyramyd Air but I bought this one elsewhere because they had the exact configuration as in right hand or left hand in .30 caliber that I prefer. It was absolutely perfection out of the box. I have a RAW Mini and Micro in .22 as well and all I can say about that is "ditto", perfection out of the box.

Hands down the best airgun I ever shot. .30 caliber. Pretty much groups a dime or less at 40 yds. Trigger is simply amazing. Do not hesitate. You will not regret.

Buttstock could be a little better but is ok.

Power..build quality..accuracy..all superb on the RAW! Worth every penny!

I would have opted for the available 10 for $10 service..the initial fill of the rifle cause some minor issues.
