The high pile fleece is comfortable. Thinner than expected, but also lighter. The front pocket is cavernous. Good down to the twenties but struggles below. The side cuffs don't seal out the wind well.
I have the cheaper version of the Scentlok hand warmer and love it. I thought I would get a second for rotating while one is being cleaned. The BE1 is great at keeping my hands warm but the waist strap clip slips with any weight in the front pocket. Next thing you know it’s at your knees.

Some of the hand muffs in the past have been loud with the carbon technology but Scentlok went back to the drawing board and took that feedback to heart. They killed it with this muff, super quiet and warm with pocket on the front makes this a must have for people who don’t wear gloves like me.
This has been a game changer! I love to always have a hand warmer not just to keep my hands warm but to hold things as well! And it ties my whole BE:1 suit together! I love it!

I received the hand warmer and it looked a lot thicker on the website than it actually is. It has a pocket on the front that is decent size. The strap to go around your waist is very flimsy and I'm not sure how long it will last. I've used this a couple times already. It is a plus that the ends are cuffed to keep wind from getting into the warmer. My suggestion would be to add more insulation to make it a little thicker and to replace the web style strap with a actual material.
