Scent Lok BE:1 Trek Base Bottom, XXL, Blackout

Everything about these worked great first time I used second time all the stitching around the waste was coming undone and now it’s completely screwed up and loose. I have had a lot of scent lok material start to lose stitching they need to figure this out cause it’s way to much money to have this happen after one two uses!!!

Absolutely my favorite scentlok clothing is the merino trek, warm and comfortable and if used and taken care of and stored properly it flat out works. Thank you and GOD BLESS

I was rather disappointed with these. The waistband does not have the constricting/squeezing strength I had hoped for, more like a wore out waistband and quite flimsy. The length is also not what the website described. The size I ordered stated the length would be 32” and it is no more than 29”. They have kept me warm, on a positive note, but for the amount they sell for I was really expecting better. I hope this helps others in their decision to purchase or not and will help in your sizing decisions.

I love these for mid season. They fit perfect and keep you warm on those chilly afternoons. I wish there was a base layer for late season.

I recently bought this item and have not used it hunting yet so take my review with a grain of salt. I read a lot of reviews about these base layers before I bought them. I tried both this one and the Climafleece BaseSlayer Midweight. I will say, the material of the BE Merino is very comfortable, soft, and stretchy. It feels like it will be warmer than the Climafleece BaseSlayer but again, not being field tested I'm not sure. Some people did mention that 1. It is not a tight fitting base layer, which it is not. It is a little loose. And 2. It does fit a little odd, like the knees are a little off. When I sit I feel like I want to grab the material at the knees and hike it up a little. But once I sat down for a while I didn't notice any discomfort. I am 5'8, 140 lbs. I typically wear a small to medium but buy my Scentlok gear in a medium for extra room to layer and move about. One thing I loved about this was how absolutely comfortable it was! In debating between this and the ClimaFleece BaseSlayer, I went with the BE Merino because it was so comfortable, felt warmer, the stretch and materials are great, and the ClimaFleece looked like it had a little shine to it so I went with the BE Merino in case I ever just hunt in the base layers from a ground blind. I will say, the Climafleece Midweight felt great and it took me a while of trying them both out before I could decide. So, if money is an issue and you want to go the cheaper route, the Climafleece is a good option. But if you have the money to spend, I felt that the BE Merino was a better option.

Just purchased the bottoms as I had the top a few months ago. They are totally warm when worn together. The quality and fit are perfect. I plan on buying another set once they go on sale again.

Love these in mid and late season. These run true to size and are warm enough to be the base layer when it’s 40 - 60. Can be a mid layer or base layer in colder weather under the divergent. Merino with carbon alloy is a basically a ghost to a deers nose even after several days of use.
