Schofield No. 3 Nickel CO2 BB Revolver, 7"

Just purchased the Schofield 7 in. in nickel. Beautiful pistol --a great knock-off of the original in weight, construction and performance. An excellent shooter--don't hesitate to buy one if you like "historic" firearms!

I did my first shooting with the Schofield 7” .177 cal running pellets through this smooth barrel to grove it well for the BB’s that followed. I also got the rifled barrel which I’m going to change out after I ruin this smooth barrel. I shot the Schofield over 120 rounds both BB and Pellet without any misfiring or hiccups. Pellets are easy to load from the rear of the shells in the revolver. BB’s require a bit more cordinator, I included a photo of what worked for me. Essentially, you have to pull the fake shell out and load it from the front. I couldn’t use the pellets in BB shells and vice versa. I used a Garmin C1 chronograph through one C02 cartage for each BB and Pellet with a 8.2 grain pellet, I wanted some work out of it. In all, they averaged really close with BB’s at a speed of 385 fps and pellets at 367 fps. Which seems right for a combo C02 air gun , although I feel a 7.4 grain pellet may get a lot closer to BB speed. I didn’t expected both using same amount of CO2 for the same shot count at 66 for BB and 62 for Pellet. But I lost 3 shots that didn’t read and one was 2x average speed off, so essentially they both showed the same amount of rounds until they felt 200 ft./s. Then each the gun only fired one more 6 shot and then the ammo bounced off the target on cardboard. Besides a large shot count given just one C02 cartage per ammo type, it was also amazing how many of the shots stayed within the average, it looked to me to be about 50 shots were within 10%-15% of average that’s a lot of fun with a cheap C02 Cartage. Schofield 7” is a good shooter as far as aim goes you’ll hit the can 3 of 5 times but maybe just the Matchbox car 1 out of 5. I shot at 26’ and it was hard with fixed sites but can plinking, you’ll be having fun, stay away from 1” targets. LoL This isn’t for small hands. But it’s great to practice using it with one hand. I can fire this one left handed and my Peacemaker with my right. That’s fun….. This is a happy shooting air gun.

This 7 inch nickel Schofield is better than beautiful! Weight is awesome and pretty accurate. I installed the .22 rifled barrel kit and I'm getting one inch groups! Wow, Get this one folks, you can't go wrong.

I bought a Schofield 7-inch No. 3 BB Revolver - Nickel Finish, my first BB gun ! What a collector's item with all its history ! I even made a custom rosewood stand especially for it, and it will be prominently displayed on a piece of furniture in my bedroom ! I'm waiting for warmer weather (it's winter here right now...) so I can practice my shooting at an outdoor range.

I purchased the Schofield 7inch chrome modle about 2 weeks ago , it has been a pleasure to shoot the way it operates the weight the finish it reminds me of a real firearm. The co2 lasts considerably longer then some other co2 air pistols I have . I have used both pellet and bbs out of it they both operate flawlessly and are fairly accurate. I am more then pleased with this product the price point is well worth it for the quality you get . I highly recommend this to any one that enjoys plinking and appreciates replica firearms
