This is one of the best knives I own. They are light weight, good grip, and keep an edge very well. I do own five of these knives so that I change the color of the knife I carry with my outfit. My go to carry knife was the Benchmade Bugout before I found the SOG Altair XR. Now my Bugouts just sit on my dresser looking lonely. This is one of the easiest to carry knives I have found. Highly recommend buying, especially while SOG has a BOGO sale on.
I bought these on the two for one deal for my father and me. We both had the same reactions when we opened them. These are incredibly light, grippy, sharp knives and ladders of this class of knife. I'm finding it in my pocket quite regularly over my Bugout. It's light, quite sharp or if the box, very grippy, flickable, and has a stiff handle.
Wanted another lightweight EDC pocket knife. Similar to my Benchmade mini buyout but opens much faster. Two for one sealed the deal. Sharp out of the box. Happy with the purchase.

I currently have 5x different SOG knives. It’s sleek and slim, perfect size for light daily use. I love the squid ink color but the light blue accents are not my favorite. I have larger models that I use in my shop or camping but this one is my go to every day carry.
