SOG SEAL XR - USA Made, Black, Ambidextrous

Got the Seal XR as a gift. Great knife! Already sharp out of the box. Weight lets you know you have a great piece of mind.

I have five different assisted-open knives from SOG and the SEAL XR is definitely the Crocodile Dundee option of the bunch (followed closely by my Kiku XR). The SEAL XR will ruin the line of your slacks but definitely makes a big statement when deployed.

needed polishing a locktite,,,had to put in 5 hrs of polish assemble..disasemble ..but eventually got it PERFECT...should not have to do that to a new knife .. that said, i will be keeping it...

Excellent piece of kit. Months of EDC and I can't say a single negative thing about it. Surprisingly comfortable in hand, very nicely contoured, and does what I ask of it every day. In response to nay-sayers: The jimping feels good and positive to me; The weight is a plus and I don't ever notice it in my pocket due to the contouring being so good, and it has a better overall feel in hand, than any other folder I've met.

Love my Sogs, the Seal XR is a great blade. Well balanced, to me, only thing could make it better is if it had a assisted opening

I just received my seal xr, I wish I would have cut loose with the money before now. Extremely well made and thought out.

When I received my package, I was related. I couldn't wait to open it. I already have the Seal Pup. But I can't carry that on me everyday. By law I can't anyways. Therefore I ordered a folder to handle my everyday carry needs. Same as the multi tool. I often find myself looking for the right tool. I can't carry a full tool belt on me for my job. It doesn't call for it. But a mini pocket tool really comes in handy. Especially the key chain multi tool.

Best folding knife ever. Reminds me of the old Tomcat!. Carry it all the time.

I bought this knife after I watched a movie with the main character was trapped behind a wooden door and got through it with a knife. In the next few days I seen this knife and decided to try it. It was just what I was looking for a folding breacher. I was in the Marine Corps and have worked security most of my life I carry this knife every day and love it. I have five SOG knives they have never let me down.

Bought an SOG Seal XR (Sig Sauer limited edition - via the Sig site) in October 2023. Very impressed with the craftsmanship/finish. American made quality knife. Sharp, sturdy, tough, and dependable. My new EDC. Was so impressed with this knife I just purchased an engraved Kiku XR LTE for my daughters birthday (for use at work). Also own an SOG entrenching tool. Good company and quality products at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.
