I bought the Tactical Tomahawk to use as an all purpose carry axe for camping wood prep, trail hiking where a spike can be a useful aid to get purchase on semi frozen poorly marked trails. The axe can equally be used as a defensive tool if required but hopefully not needed

I took the tomahawk on a short camping trip and it performed various chores flawlessly. Easy handling, light weight and retained its edge throughout the trip.

I own two hawks. Very well built. Tuff. Only dislike, is the handle. Not having a pommel swell. It can slip from my hands, under heavy use. Loosing it a star for me.

Well made. Solid. Sharp. Strong. A bit heavier than I expected. Higher quality than I expected. The nylon belt sheath is very functional, better designed and more usable than others I’ve seen.

Nice handle grip,good for throwing. Would have been great if it came with a wrist rope or at least drilling the hole larger.
