Speer TMJ Handgun bullets are engineered to be the cleanest-shooting projectiles available for target and silhouette competition. Unlike traditional Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) bullets that leave an exposed lead base, these projectiles use proprietary Uni-Cor technology to bond a seamless copper jacket around the entire lead core. This design virtually eliminates lead vaporization at the firing line, making it the premier choice for indoor range use and shooters concerned with environmental lead exposure. These bullets are swaged twice to ensure a perfectly uniform heel and a consistent .357" diameter, providing the match-grade accuracy and reliable cycling required for high-volume training in .38 Special and .357 Magnum firearms.
Defensive Application
Non-expanding TMJ bullets carry a high over-penetration risk and do not create large wound channels. They are not recommended for personal defense.
