Very narrow, like how the bolt now sits in a channel, less chance getting bumped off. Like the new crank location
To be fair, I’m a vertical bow guy, have been for 50+years. I did own another brand CB (for the PA late season) that shot great but the trigger was so bad, my grandson couldn’t shoot it. So I shot a demo TX28 at the Harrisburg Outdoor Show. Factory reps were awesome and the TX28 with a Triggertech was like shooting one of my prized rifles. After I had it sighted in…in a matter of 15min, my 11yr old grandson was smoking 10 rings! Can’t wait for him to hunt with me and hopefully get his first crossbow deer!
My first crossbow and I already know it’s the right one, user-friendly and everything on it is high equality. Everything I needed came with the crossbow, Tenpoint made it easy.
Compact and well balanced. No problem sighting it in and getting tight groupings at 50 yards from tripod. Feels solid built and happy with purchase so far. Will update once I get some more reps in.

The TX 28 is a great crossbow the Acu slide Maxx is very safe, trger is crisp. My TX 28 CRONO 388.2 FPS with .5 FPS deviation. This creates a super accurate compact crossbow great for hunting. I added the Garmin Z1I optic, this makes a great bow even better. I did shoot it withe the Vortex Crossbow scope as well, another great combo. Impressive product!
Nice compact crossbow. Bought mainly for the Twin Riser technology. Previously i have owned a TurboS1 before the extra brace for the scope mount was introduced. I'm hoping for an aftermarket fix for the Turbo S1. Hunting in Idaho in September and wanted better scope rail support
The small 28 inch length is perfect for tree stand hunting. At 410fps on can reach out and deliver accurate results.
So far I’ve put a few dozen shots through it so far and this is what I’ve found. This is my first crossbow and so far I couldn’t be happier. Ten point has basically made this foolproof to use. It is super compact, light, easy to use, and definitely accurate.
