TenPoint TX 28 Crossbow

Not only is this crossbow fast, it is so quiet. Even compared to my Dad's Turbo S1. I love the cocking mechanism. Very smooth. The handle attachment is fantastic, and the quiver attachment is much improved.

This is my first crossbow and I booked a trip to Texas for a Whitetail Deer hunt (Archery) I was a bit nervous since this was my first archery hunt. I was in the blind waiting for a nice buck and a large group of hogs came into view, the guide said we could shoot all the hogs we want so I took a shot!! It hit where I aimed and the hog laced dead 30 yards from the shot. The I was in the blind a few days later and a large Mule Deer came into view and once again took the shot and same outcome. I amd sold and have all the confidence in TenPoint bows especially the TX28. PS The lighted Knoxs are a game changer!!!!!!

I purchased the tx28 this past summer it was fast and easy to set up and sight in. Less than 15 shots and it was dialed in shooting the same hole at 60 yards. So far I have taken a coyote and a nice 10 point whitetail with it. My only issue with the bow is the safety. The safety is easy to bump to the fire position and it is loud. The whitetail heard me turn the safety off from 30 yards away on a quiet morning he froze and looked right at me. I was able to harvest him though.

The TX28 is an absolutely amazing crossbow. This is my 3rd Tenpoint and by far the best. I got it because of the decocking and the speed, but got so much more. It's size is so perfect for treestands and it's accuracy is phenominal. I can comfortably shoot 15-20 yards farther than my previous Tenpoint.

Definately compact- awesome - I harvested a 6pt buck this year with it- very accurate-he only thing that I would implement is either the bow hangar being longer or adjustable to move out - so when cocking or lowering from tree stand the front is protected- I made a protective cover that slides over - attached with Velcro-and purchased an extension for the stock- to better fit my length of pull- added a small bubblle level for cantor—under scope- short shots under 40 yards no changes- longer shots 60 yards plus- I think it helps accuracy-maybe accessories for future products I have found no negatives -great product used the nemesis broadheads-with great results-

The tx28 replaced my stealth fx4 that I’ve been using since 2017. With zero problems over 10 years have me the confidence to make the leap . Super super accurate, compact and lightweight. The accu draw max is a game changer and a must for these hi speed bows. Love the feel of the stock and its AR style grip and safety. I find it easy to hold the xbow in my hands for long periods of time which puts you in the ready for when it’s go time. New technology took a few to get used to as it’s railess but I’m very comfortable with it in short time. The power it has crush’s deer bones with out skipping a beat!

I sold my Mathew’s lift to buy a crossbow to save time practicing throughout the summer so that I could spend more time with my 2 yr old daughter. After selling my Mathew’s and buying this crossbow I have had not extra time, due to the scope not adjusting and having to replace it with a new one after one was sent to me. I am still having issues with the cross bow getting sighted in correctly, it will shoot great for several bolts then all of a sudden it shots way off without doing anything to it.. took it to the store I bought it and the said the strings might need replace and are supposed to be working on getting new strings, unknown when the new strings will be after I bought this thing brand new

So far so good. Shot a 5 point this year at 12 yards. Love the compactness of this crossbow. The cocking and decoking are the best. Obviously the speed is not with the arrows supplied. The center punch arrows with a100 grain broadhead weight about 445 grains. I am getting right at 380 fps not the 410 advertised. The advertised speed is with a 400 grain arrow. The speed I am getting is plenty.
