The TenPoint Stealth 450 Crossbow is engineered to deliver outstanding performance at longer distances than previous models. It has a higher velocity than any of their other forward draw crossbows ever have, at up to 450 feet per second and with up to 191 foot pounds of energy, resulting in incredible accuracy to take down game.
Improvements over other models include the Sentry Bowhanger stirrup that allows the bow to be hung easily in a stand and also protects broadheads from dirt and damage, as well as scope struts and a longer optics rail for an 80 percent boost in strength without adding as much weight as a full-length rail. Light weight, easy to cock/de-cock, very accurate and great tool for the job.
I bought my TenPoint Stealth Crossbow in 2013 and have managed to shoot at least one whitetail every year since then. I'm retired and have lots of time to enjoy sitting in a deer stand even when no deer are present. I'm not looking for trophy bucks but still often let deer pass so I can hunt another day. Other than replacing strings and cables, I have had no other maintenance required. I read all the ads and reviews of new TenPoint bows but I am completely satisfied with my trusty old Stealth.
I’ve owned a few crossbows now. But I love this stealth 450. It’s a great price point for getting a very nice bow.. shoots amazing straight!! I’ve practiced with it out to 90yards and it’s deadly accurate. Also love the fact that all my old bolts that from my previous ten point crossbows also work with this one.
May not be the lightest but it is reliable and accurate
I’ve been a bow hunter since 1967. This was always my preferred way to hunt. You learned the animal by necessity as you would not be successful otherwise. The recurve , then the compound were my weapons of choice. The entire experience of bow hunting made me a better hunter, woodsman and deer biologist. However age and disabilities related to the age,took away my ability to hunt with my preferred weapon. I heard about crossbows but knew nothing about them. Thur discussions with various fellow bow hunters about the physical limitations occurring with age was very frustrating. Crossbows were appearing to be a viable weapon to allow the bow hunting to continue. I did a lot of research and determined that TenPoint was far and away the leader in the construction, quality and reliability of the product. Thru research, testing and finances, I decided on the Stealth 4X. I liked it from the start, the feel, quality and ease of use was tremendous. Sightings it in was a breeze. The optics that came with it were excellent. I’ve now been hunting with it for multiple years. As a effective and proficient hunting weapon it is beyond compare. Every deer I’ve shot at with it has been a clean and effective kill. Tracking has been at a minimum. I’m thoroughly hooked and despite age and physical limitations, I am again able to thoroughly enjoy my bow hunting. Bravo Ten Point !! I’m currently saving to upgrade to a newer more compact, faster and decocking Ten Point Crossbow.
Replaced a problematic competitor's crossbow into the Stealth 450. Reliable, simple to use, safe and ACCURATE! Zero it and go! At this price range I see no better options and very satisfied with my purchase.
