I've used aOarker enforcer crossbow for years. I went with the venom X as it is the 1st user level with acuvock and decock. Have shot several bolts in the open yard and look forward to setting up targets in a hunting scenario

It's only been Tenpoint Crossbows for myself and family. They are reliable, fast, and overall great bows. The Venom X is an excellent choice! I really like the Moss Green color for this bow and the de-cock option is great!
The venom x is a nice light weight compact very accurate bow. This is my first crossbow I have a herniated disk in my neck that doesn’t allow me to shoot compounds anymore. Although I haven’t harvested any game with it yet just shooting targets. But my 8 year old grandson loves this bow he took his first deer this past season with it and is totally addicted. I’m either going to have to give him my venom x and get myself a new one or buy him his own my wife also got me the hard shell carrying case for Christmas and I believe it can fall off the back of a moving truck and won’t hurt anything inside because it’s padded so well and plenty of room for all of your gear. Probably the main thing that sold me on this bow is Cabelas will let you shoot different bows in their archery range before purchasing. This is extremely helpful on making your final decision especially for first time crossbow buyers. And their archery shop is very helpful on care and maintenance.
