Mosquitos LOVE me. They will hunt me down in a group of people and only choose me. I get huge welts that are itchy for days. I have spent most of the summer hiding indoors. I bought the little guy (I don’t remember the model EX90 I guess?) but I’ll admit I was skeptical. Like there is no way this can actually work right? Omg. Actually. I am stunned. It took longer than expected to ‘start up’ maybe 3-5 minutes? But once it started, it worked immediately. I didn’t get bit once and I actually got to spend time outdoors with my dogs instead of rushing them to go to pee. Not only did it save me but it saved my dogs too!! It’s incredibly. If you get swarmed like me, trust me, it works.
Not used yet but experienced product at recent outdoor event
It seemed to work for mosquito repelling, but the sand flies were terrible
went to watch Perseids in reserve area by a lake. absolutely no mosquitoe bites despite a few buzzes. so far so good. will try in backyard soon.
I used this repeller first time this evening and it really worked, usually I was attacked by several mosquitoes earlier when was watering my garden but thankfully nothing today !
Our daughter’s outdoor wedding was saved by Thermacell, as a normally dry bug free summer was not to be. Wet weather mosquitos were vicious - 4 strategically placed ThermaCells under the open tent (which saved us from à torrential soaking, that barely held off, until the vows were quickly expedited by the pastor - could have been the lightning!) - but with the formalities behind us & the activation of the thermacells an hour before sunset, kept us bug free late into the night! Thank You So Much - would love to share photos to show the area covered, as 4 units were perfect. We also set a EX90 Thermacell, by the JimmiJons - unfortunately the walk from the tent, folks got eaten! Highly recommended! And the refills can be capped so cartridges do not dry out like the previous iterations of the handheld Thermacells - which as a hunter, it is a must in turkey season. Can you tell our family are Thermacell fans!
Looks great, easy to charge and set up. Haven't yet determined it effectiveness. Time will tell ...

So far it has met my expectations as I previously has a old model. The convenience and ease of use make the rechargeable model with long battery life and refills a simple purchase. The upfront cost are higher but the convenience trumps that. Well worth the money spent.
