I don't know why this sight doesn't get more attention, it's an awesome sight at an awesome price. For the northeast whitetail woods it's perfect. I have the top two pins set to 20 and 30 yards and then keep the third pin buried out of the way at the bottom of the housing for better sight picture with less clutter. It's easy to move the third pin quickly up to 40 or 50 or more yards if I need to or if I'm having fun at the range. It combines the best of fix pin sights and adjustable sights. They even sell an adapter for the newer picatinny mount bows.
How stiff the adjustments are, and the quality of the sight
The sight tapes are trash. No numbers just lines printed on a sticker.

This is a really decent sight. It took me under ten minutes to get it attached to the bow and 20 and 30 pins set. Super easy. The only reason it doesn't get a 5 star is I don't care for the sight tape and the light has a mind of it's own..
I love my Hotwire. I've used the same one for 3 years in a row. A couple of the screws came lose initially so keep an eye on that when doing initial maintenance on the bow. It's a durable sight that has lasted several seasons and has no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
Bought the sight last year. Used it and it worked great. Just went out hunting this morning and it busted off when i set it up in my climber. It was 6 degrees out but it still shouldn't break that easy very disappointing, ruined my hunt. Would add photos but dont know how.
I have had this over two years and never had a single problem with it, I love the 3 pins and that I have one I can adjust to longer distances if need be. It's perfect and I highly recommend.
Great site, have it cited from 20, 30 and floater out to 70, but it’s pretty bottomed out at 70. Would like to get smaller pins if that’s possible, can you order those anywhere? I also really like having adjustment tool attached, my only complaint is that one of the tension screws for the sights keeps coming loose, I put some bowstring wax on it and that seems to help some.
