Trophy Ridge Peak 5 Vertical In Line Pins Bow Sight, Black, Right, .019

I really like this sight; vertical pins are the only way to go. My only concern is that it doesn't come with an option for 0.029 pins. My older eyes have a harder time picking out the pins the last half hour of daylight.

This sight does not have 3rd axis adjustment and it is imperative that this sight is square to your bow on the 3rd axis more so than other styles of sight. If your third axis is off you cannot sight in your windage. Period. Horizontal shooting or on a slope. If your 3rd axis is off you will hit progressively further right or left the further out you shoot. Because of the linear set up of the pins, if your sight is not perfectly square to your bow, your pins will veer off to the side. Meaning if you set your windage at 20 yards on the bottom pin and your sight is not square, when you shoot the top pin at say 60 yards it will consistently hit to the side of where you aim. Even if you are an Olympics level archer and shoot 1 inch groups at 60, that 1 inch group will be to the side of your aim point. Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of this sight. I bought it as a replacement for a Firewire V5 that I guess I got lucky and was square to my bow (sad it broke). The vertical pins give a very clean sight picture. However, without 3rd axis adjustability it can end up driving you nuts trying to sight it in if the 3rd is off. I ended up having to make a shim out of a feeler gauge to get mine close to square (they visibly veered to the left like a college sophomore). If you can't get your 3rd axis right, this sight becomes near useless since you can never truly get the windage set (always have to use that Kentucky windage for some pins). So either it needs 3rd axis adjustability or it needs to be manufactured to very tight tolerances for square, which given that bows themselves will vary in square of the riser means adjustability is kinda the only option. Also, make the logo flat and not a domed bubble since it is on both sides of the bracket and can interfere with mounting the bracket to the riser. Going to have to sand the one on the inside of my bracket down. C'mon y'all, keep the marketing folks in check so they don't interfere with functionality for the sake of esthetics. BTW, I am mounting this on a Bear Whitetail Legend, so I'm using your gear all around. Getting disappointed in trophy ridges designs.

I have an older bow so it took a bit to get the geometry right, but it is a solid piece of engineering. I was pleasantly surprised my groups shrunk, and the adjustments were consistent and predictable.

Love the sight, I like multi pins but hate pin blocking, this is fantastic. Like shooting a single pin but not. Easy adjustments design is sleek and the sight picture is perfect.

I love this sight, I have had 5 of them on different bows. Vertical pins do not block your vision like horizontal pins do. Sighting in is easy once you get your closesest pin dialed in, its just a matter of vertical adjustment for the rest of your pins. If you change arrow or broadhead weight sight adjustment is easy doing same as above. . .

The Peak is a awesome and unique inline sight! It's vertical position of Pin gap is so swift and easy on the eyes! Perfect sight for the beginner up To the advance shooter!

I really enjoy the sight picture. It provides great feedback and you can easily see if you're torquing the bow. This allows you to make corrections based on if you have any glare from side to side allowing for more consistent shooting. Adjustments are easy to make on the fly. Allen keys weren't really needed until the 50/60 yard pins on my Alaskan XT.

I've used trophy ridge products for decades and they never disappoint! This was no exception! Excellent sight, very well made and the increase in accuracy switching to a vertical sight is truly amazing!!

Always loved the vertical pin technology. Much better field of view. Much easier to adjust the sights than my previous one. The addition of the light for the fiber optics is a game changer in my opinion. Haven't taken it to the field yet, that happens in a couple weeks on my elk hunt. I'll add to this review if anything changes in the negative but for the price point, I don't see how you could go wrong with this product.
