Cute and pretty well engineered. I like the laser sight, even though it’s pretty useless.
Things I Would Have ChangedFirst thing I would change is to include assembly instructions. I had to look closely to the pictures here at Puramid Air, in order to assemble it properly. BTW the sticky side of the silver metal piece has to face towards the front of the crossbow, otherwise the bow blade bends inwards when you put the Allen screw on it. Trial and error and an Engineering degree helped ;) You cannot use the thicker toothpicks with the flat end in the back, though the two point toothpicks fit, but you have to cut one of the points off in order for the string to launch the toothpick, otherwise it gets wedged on top of the toothpick and nothing happens. Now you have a jam. The short little barrel hole that the toothpick goes through, was too tight. I had to drill it a bit with a 3/32 drill bit and oil it with a a few drops of TriFlow oil. After I did all that it finally fired a toothpick straight for about 10 feet. It’s a fun little thing to have. No regrets.
What Others Should KnowIn order to cock it you hold the trigger back and you lean the crossbow forward, so the cocking mechanism gets in the loading position. Then you pull the wire back and it cocks, ready to fire. Also most of the Allen screws on it, needed tightening.
