My dad is actually using these as hearing aids. The only thing I wish is it came with more earbud domes and they both charged at the same time. Overall though for the money they are great. They are also so big they are hard for him to lose.
Earbuds definitely enhanced my hearing on an elk hunt. Only drawback was that the close noises such as my pack scratching a tree or my footsteps were so loud I couldn’t hear anything else. When I held perfectly still they were great for picking out other noises.
Bought these to wear while bird hunting. I have used them for that x3 now. Seems to give adequate sound reduction. Not sure why these aren’t “hearing protection” as well. Baffling.
Only bad thing is i can't use them when hunting with my rifle. Bought a pair last year that i could use with my rifle and one of the two quit working. Guess i didn't read that the pair i now have are not for use with firearms. i will use them in the bow season.
