Great round but I wish they were available. Best rifle ive ever owned but cant buy ammo.
Love this gun. BUT, you can’t find ammo for it so you have to reload it yourself. I got lucky and bought a reloading die early.

Very happy with this round. I've shot several loads out of my 1874 sharps repro and this is one of the best ones I've found from a factory. This is definitely going into the mimic slot for my load data. I used the 45-70 300 grain hollows and the accuracy pointed out everything I was doing wrong, the rifle and ammunition had zero issues putting shots where they needed to go. Definite 5 out of 5
I Taken Many Deer With This Cartridge. Ranges From 35 to 165 Big Steps. Biggest Complaint I Have. Winchester Rarely If Ever Produce This Ammunition Anymore.
This ammo provided excellent accuracy with my particular rifle, and the recoil was very manageable with a crescent buttplate.
Outstanding performance on WT Deer. bought one many yrs ago, took many deer a then gave it to my Granddaughter who has used it to take over 15 Deer, they seldom run at all and if they do never very far.
This round is awesome. The last deer I shot dropped in his tracks, in fact practically every deer I've shot with this round has. One did go 40 yrds.

The 25wssm is my favorite rifle and I do have a lot. But it seems winchester has screwed the consumer by no longer making ammo for this rifle or any of their line of wssm's. If I had an idea of when I'd be able to get ammo I wouldn't be so mad. I've been waiting for a run for 1.5 years now and im guessing it will be a while longer. Does anyone know when it will be made. Had i know i would have horded ammo like everyone else.
