Winchester Super X Winclean, .40 S&W, 50

A favorite of mine. Have shot this ammo for years and am always pleased with the quality. I prefer this as it is closest to original loads first used in the Colt SAA .45. Shoots straight. Hits hard. Would also be nice to see the copper Lubaloy 255 grain bullets reissued. These were great rounds too.

Great round, was once carried by some Federal agencies. Carried it my 38s over 30 years and continue to today. When we carried revolvers it is what I issued to officers that could not handle recoil of 357 ammo. While encouraging them shoot more 357.

Have used this ammo for years in my LCRx 38. The 158 grain +P works wonders. I have finished off many deer with that gun and this load. Does the job, no need for a bigger caliber with these on my hip.

I just received 1000 rounds of Super X 9mm. I am disappointed. I shot 250 so far and had 6-7 failures to chamber. The rounds got stuck below feed ramp. I'm using a Walther PDP full size 4". For comparison, I shot around 250 "other" rounds. No issues. I think, it's difficult to remember after several months, I shot around 75 "active duty" 115 gr rounds. Very dirty round. Smoke, dirty fingers.

these are the winchester version FBI .38 spl loads. Very accurate, expands .55 to.60 cal in flesh, go thru. I have used these for defense, active duty, and hunting for many years.

So smoky I was asked if they were black powder! They got the authentic black powder dirtiness as well. Lead bullets must be as soft as butter because even though a low velocity load, my barrel was smeared end to end with lead. At least the brass is good quality for reloading.

This round is devastating. 100% destruction on anything it hits. Deer, bear, anything. Super accurate. I shoot open sights on a marlin 44 lever action and at 100 yards these rounds will hit where I aim everytime. I have used super-x ammunition for 20 years and it has never let me down once.
