Tanfoglio

Tanfoglio is an Italian firearms manufacturer whose guns are distributed in the U.S. by EAA - the European American Armory Corp. The Tanfoglio brand specializes in air pistols, BB guns and accessories. Tanfoglio was founded just after World War II in Gardone Val Trompia, Italy, which is in the province of Brescia. The town is also home to the Davide Pedersoli company, which is known throughout the world as one of the premier manufacturers of black powder muzzle rifles and breech loading firearms for competition.

The production of Tanfoglio firearms started with gun parts. In the early 1950's, "Fabbrica d'armi Tanfoglio Giuseppe" was founded and started to produce replica guns, as well as firearms they designed in-house. The first of these was the Tanfoglio GT27.
