Athlon Midas G2 UHD 10x42

Very clear light binos. These were compared to their top of the line binos and I like these better and went with them. Not to say that anything is wrong with the more expensive ones, but my eyes like these better. Very clear and good in low light. Able to spot deer in tree lines all the way to end of shoot time at over 200 yards. For the price would not consider getting anything else.

I recommend these binoculars. Great clarity and depth, easy to focus, and they come with a hard case and secure strap system.

Great clarity, light weight & balanced. They have great light intake eve in the evenings. Definitely recommend them, especially for the price they can’t be beat.

Great glass for the price. I have the Cronus binos as well. The Midas glass gets you great center clarity and good light transmission. The Cronus glass takes everything an extra step up with better edge to edge clarity, better light transmission and an overall sharper image.. Both are excellent at their price point.

The glass is exceptional, I was looking a bull elk at over 1 mile next to a guy with his Swarovski and I could count the points while he couldn’t. I think this says everything about the quality. Most of my optics are Athlon and I will buy this brand before any other brand of optics.

For the price they are very clear I own some higher end binoculars and while these aren’t quite as good they are very clear and can see my self using these as a backup pair often or keeping them in a vehicle where I wouldn’t leave my expensive ones

I bought these specifically for an upcoming late-season New Mexico elk hunt with my kids, and the Midas G2 UHD 10x42s blew away my expectations. The glass is ridiculously clear — edge-to-edge sharpness with no eye strain even after hours of glassing ridgelines. Colors pop in low light, which is critical for those dawn and dusk movements, and the UHD coating really does make a difference spotting elk against the desert backdrop. Build quality is rock solid but surprisingly lightweight, so carrying them in the field is no burden. The focus wheel is smooth and precise, and the 10x magnification hits the sweet spot for Western hunting — enough reach to pick out details without losing stability. These feel like premium binos at double the price, and Athlon’s no-questions-asked warranty gives huge peace of mind. If you’re serious about hunting and want the perfect mix of clarity, performance, and value, these are a no-brainer. My kids immediately noticed the difference in brightness compared to my older pair — that says everything.
