Within a hundred yards works pretty good, refresh rate can be a little slow. But for the money it gets you into the thermal game.

It was easy to sight in once you gotthe hang of it, the video was great, and the fact that you can sinc it up wit your phone was perfect.

good thermal for the money. If I had to do it again I'd save some money and buy the next one up to get better resolution. But it works really well for the money.

The value of this thermal at this price point is ridiculous. Great thermal, only weak point is the QD mount. I had to tighten up the lock nut to make it actually seat on the rail.

This is the absolute best thermal you can get for the price. I couldn't figure out the one shot zeroing, but then again I was zero'ing from 100 yards (with a pocket warmer to see heat spot) so I just did the manual (shoot, look at target, adjust X/Y, repeat). I mounted this on a suppressed armalite M15 for nightime coyote hunting. The thermal imaging is amazing, I can see coyotes from well beyond where I could shoot them at, 500+ yards (rural coyotes so there's houses in the backstop). The imagery options are also great, you can change to the color that you like (red, blue, green, white, etc.). Keep in mind I'm a beginner hunter, and i hit my first coyote using this thermal. The only thing I would change to my next thermal would be to look for one with a range finder in it just to simplify but this one is a amazing at the price. Battery life will last you easily one night out with the external and internal batteries. 5 stars, awesome thermal. Buy one you won't be disappointed.

This thermal has good picture clarity, holds zero, is easy to record video, and was easy to zero. I bought it to mount on a PCP air rifle to be used for shooting rats and feral pigeons. Using it almost every weekend for 4 months, I have eliminated over 650 rats and almost a dozen pigeons on neighbors farms. I have used it mostly inside barns and machine sheds, but also occasionally outside. It has been outstanding, with the only issue to date an issue with the mounting clamp constantly loosening. It still seems to hold zero, but is very annoying. Otherwise the thermal has performed very well, and is well worth the price.

I paired this on my Daniel Defense. It also works great as a monocular if that’s what you desire. It was very easy to identify what species of game(Whitetail, Hogs) we were looking at up to 200 yds which was the extent of the field we tested in. I could even distinctly identify rabbits. The sight in was very easy to do. I did a three shot group, selected the center of the target and moved the cursor to the center of my group. I was dead on with one adjustment. A hot hands works great for daytime sighting in if you don’t have a thermal target. I found the white hot mode with a green reticle to be the best viewing mode for myself. The only downside I found with this thermal is the image shutter. It will occasionally freeze up for a few seconds. It does it periodically but wouldn’t be an issue for me hog hunting. Overall, this is a great investment if you would like to get into thermals. It is a tremendous value for the money spent!

Being able to charge the battery when it's in the optic would be nice.

I was skeptical about buying this at first because of the low price. I've used thermal optics before and know you get what you pay for but I have fisher cats in my forest and they were stalking my property trying to get at our new puppy. Night vision wasn't going to cut it because they like to hide just inside the brush out of view, but with a good thermal brush isn't going to hide them so I ordered this and hoped it would be half as good as the optics I used in the field. It definitely exceeded my expectations. By dawn the next morning my animals were safer than they had been in weeks. Two days later the bunnies were back and my forest was alive with the sounds of little animals playing again and the dogs would go off the property. If your on the fence about it just do it. The app can be tricky but once you figure it out it's all up hill. There's plenty of options and zeroing the weapon is made easy.. you can set up multiple profiles and each profile can be set for several distances!
