The BearX De-Tac Cocking Crank is compatible with most BearX crossbows and lessens the draw weight while providing the equivalent capability of a 600 lbs. draw weight. It is fully detachable for easier transport and features an anti-reverse mechanism that keeps the handle in place when released instead of letting it move backward.

I'm an old guy and couldn't get the rope cocking device that came with the bow to behave! The hooks would come together and hit the front of the receiver(?) and not engage the release. When I tried to release the tension and take another stab at it, it would get stuck behind the rubber bolt keeper. I finally got it safely removed and decided to go with Plan B. The De Tac Cocking Crank was easy to install and works great!! The only thing I would consider changing, is to add about another 1/4" to the horizontal distance of the crank spindle, to the right in order to give a fuzz more clearance of the bowstring on that side. Would definitely recommend and purchase again!
You'd think that the company bearing the name of the literal Godfather of archery would do better than this. Although the packaging states so this unit does NOT fit securely on my Intense Xbow. The mounting bracket doesn't fit securely to the frame. It appears Bear tried to make a one size fits all cocker for thier line and this attempt was a failure. Do better Bear before someone gets hurt!
It works but definitely not as impressed as I was exited to get it!
Just arrived today. Does not fit my new Intense cross bow. Tried shimming it so that I could tighten it down. Still twists before finishing cocking. Totally useless on the cross bow.
Got it for the wife just made things easier for her
It does crank easily and cocks my crossbow nicely. The problem is, when I go to release it off my Bear Banish 420 with mounted scope, the cocking device hangs up between the string and the bottom front mount of the scope and you have to jerk on pretty hard to get it to torn loose. I have one I got 3 years ago and it works great and I have never had a problem with it. This one is made to thick on the bottom of it where it grabs the cocking string.
The crank is easy to mount, simple to use, and works great.
I was using this crank and the cocking sled broke in half, launching plastic and metal across the room. I would not buy this again. if you buy this. . . do not put it near your body or anything valued
The crank is a little bit loud, but the crank makes setting up a 400 ft/sec crossbow a lot easier. Watching the video demo was very helpful, and I would recommend it! The crank design is simple to attach if you follow the video
