BearX Impact CDXV Crossbow

I've had this for 4 years it is amazing. Hope you keep making them.

The Bear Banish 420 is straight trash, do not buy!! Sure, if under warranty and you pay for the labor, they will replace the defective limbs with more defective limbs. This will get them past the from "when purchased" warranty date, then your on your own. I got 4 shots out of the new limbs that took a couple of months to get! This bow has cost me 2 bow seasons.

First impressions great shooting bow only took six shots from box to have it dialed in out to 50 yards. Definitely have to get used to the compact design. Also instructions could be a lot better. Still don't know how to mount the quiver there are zero instructions for it included.

We got it for my husband, he is disabled. He can handle it and is very impressed. Great crossbow

I bought this a few months ago but wanted to wait until I had hunted with it to make a review. I am not a crossbow expert, but I have been very happy with it. The velocity is awesome, the form factor is ideal for hunting in smaller stands, and I've been very impressed with the accuracy. I've shot one deer with it and had great results with the Bear bolts and a 125 grain broad head”complete pass thru at 30 yards even after hitting bone. I will probably upgrade the scope at some point”the one it comes with is fine and I killed a deer with it this year, but it's not the best in low light”the lighted reticle helps, but in the first 30 minutes and last 30 minutes of light you see more of a deer shaped shadow than a deer. The trigger took a bit to get used too, but once I got reps on it I was shooting consistently unsupported. I do not like the quiver mount and don't use it. That might just be personal preference, I like to keep the crossbow as uncluttered as possible to make it easier to handle hunting. Also, it's a small complaint but the instructions aren't great. It's a black and white fold out”I got mine together without any trouble but considering the price I think Bear could at least do a color book, or perhaps just a QR code with a video of the assembly. Overall, I can't see a reason to ever buy another crossbow for any hunting I want to do. With the right arrow set up I think this would be a great crossbow for any hunting you want to do”it's got the accuracy to stretch the range, and plenty of power for hogs or big bodied deer.

I ordered the Impact CDXV and had problems right out of the box. Instructions were not very helpful. Literature and specs in general are non existent. And the whole œonly shoot Bearx bolts with no other bolt details is a poor way to treat customers. The bolts were trash and wouldn't shoot/pattern well at all. I had to build bolts that I knew were a good combo from previous experience to get it to shoot a pattern at all. Also the string broke in around 25 shots. This thing is trash and Bearx crossbows are trash based off of my customer experience.
