BearX EZ Crossbow Silent Cocking Crank

The crank does the job and accomplishes the mission of cocking the bow. For that i have given it 3 stars. I was unable to give it the 4th and 5th star due to its cumbersome and heavy stature. Carrying it to the stand is a feat in it's self! And cocking it in a tree stand after firing it, is a balancing act just to get it attached to the string. Although it is very quiet, attaching it is not. The lock/release switch gives me anxiety to say the least. Not only do I have to be He-man to release it, but if the string does not catch, then you got a Jack-n-the-box in your hand. I'm not as worried about it being quiet as I am that it doesn't catch when I crank it. Not worth almost double the money to me. Unfortunately , with my bow this was the only option that I had for a crank. I am a BEAR Archery user since I was a kid, and love their products. Its all I shoot! This crank does make it possible to cock your bow for someone who can not crank it with the cocking rope.

Very impressed! Solid construction, very quiet in operation. Would like to see a tutorial on how to de cock though. I've been a customer of Bear products since I was a child and was never let down by their designs or the pricing! I had purchased this crank with a Constrictor Pro for my Mother. She practice shot for 2 days on the 3rd she got her kill with it!. She absolutely loves the setup!

The anti-reverse ratchet switch broke off of mine with just regular usage. I then had to cut the string on the crank to be able to get the crank off of my crossbow.

I believe it's a faulty design. Original crank came with the bow. And the lock and unlock button fell off after sighting in for 30 min. Then ordered a new one. After 8 arrows the same result. Very disappointing. I guess I will order a manual pull string for the bow

Very nice and fast. The hand crank makes it a breeze to load. Exalent bow.

It works well enough but the Lock Release fell apart after a few uses. I had to go back home to try to glue it in place so I could release the crank in the middle of zeroing my crossbow.

However I did also purchase the limb silencers for my Bear X carnivore, but the adhesive will not stick. It is very weak stickiness.

This item is terrific. I have the Intense crossbow and it works perfectly.

a little cumbersome to pack around, but it works great. It makes it so easy to cock my 200# bow. Perfect.

Had to be modified to even work safely on the crossbow.
