Much bigger than I was hoping for. This is more of an EDC back pack knife not a pocket carry

Ive been through multiple brands of knives, mostly Cheap ones, but this one is worth every single penny. I carry and use this thing daily, I am in construction work. The lock up is tight and stays that way, even when being used daily as a pry tool, or whatever you need it for.
Knife is sharp out of the box. Very balanced and well designed.
Just received this monster of a knife love everything about it. Except the clip wish the clip wasn’t so stiff, also wished it came with a pouch.
After two and a half years with an AD-10 Lite, I finally got the OG version. The Lite is a good knife, but this version really feels 'special' (I'm not saying that because I paid more for it) The handle in G-10 feels really nice in hand. I'm not certain about this, but it seems like the contour for the lower part of the handle is slightly different; feels slightly nicer around my fingers. The overall build of the knife is practically perfect; except for the top screw for the clip still slightly too long compared to the others. I've always loved the AD-10 design. To me it's the perfect size and weight for what you're getting (better toughness, and excellent ergonomics). I'm only a few years in with folders and most of my other knives are bigger fixed blades; but if you're in the market for a folder, get this one. Highly recommended.

So I was a Kershaw guy for years, but as I have been trying to spend more time hiking and being outdoors I wanted something with a little more heft and a stronger lock while still being compact enough for EDC. So I ordered the 4Max Scout. Well that was a little too large for EDC but still an awesome knife which will be accompanying me on my camping and canoeing adventures foe sure. Anyway I finally settled on the AD10 and hit the sweet spot. Still heavier than my Kershaw, it’s still small enough ti be a daily pocket knife while still being hefty enough for a few hours in the woods. Definitely gwtting more Cold Steel knives this year.
The AD-10 is not as big nor is it as heavy as some claim online. Very smooth action like a fine bolt action rifle. Positive grip. The clip is a tad large but really no big deal as it shows those concerned its not your Boy Scout toy folder. I consider the AD-10 my urban survival knife -- US and overseas.
