The Kobun is a nice little knife to have around for light work like cutting rope and things like that when camping, it arrived arazor sharpI and feels very comfortable in the hand. I would not recommend this knife for heavy duty to use. The sheath is trash.

A quality Boot knife for its price range. Strong and dependable. My only criticism is the rough edge: it seemed like the final edge was put on with a course grind... I put on a new edge after receipt. And typically use my knives for work-related applications and also for construction use and Cold steel is my go-to brand for heavy abuse. So far, this holds an edge as good as any other cold steel knife that I use but with the convenience of a fixed blade I appreciate the low profile and small mass as it's convenient for everyday carry

I got the knife for my son who is an avid collector of knives. He just loved it. His first use of the knife was to carve the Christmas ham. It was like a hot knife through butter. Thank you cold steel

I'm on my second one. The knife is solid as a rock. Unlike the previous scabbard, this one is impractical to wear. The new clip holds the knife in a fixed position instead of allowing to float on your belt which was a good thing due to its overall length. When you draw the knife, the scabbard comes off your belt with it. Bring back the old clip.

The Kobun is just as advertised. A great knife that has multiple functions but is primarily a fighting knife. It is lightweight, easily concealable, and made with very good and strong steel.

This knife came extremely sharp as are all Cold Steel knives. Light in the hand and strong appearing blade. I still haven't found how the sheath is designed for right hand use. I guess I'll have to review more youtube videos!
