I have used the Frankfort cleaning pods for over 2- years with super results. To avoid leaks due to gas buildup, you just need to allow the ood to dissolve over 5 minutes BEFORE putting on the lid. If you don't than the gas buildup will force the seals resulting in a leak during tumbling. Easy to avoid. Remember not to overload the drum. It will slow the rotation resulting in duller brass and primer pockets not being as clean. Recommend that Frankfort update their instructions to include the bit about 5 minutes before sealing the lid. Saves us all from a wet floor and less than stellar reviews.

Just received my rotary machine and tried it without the ss pins and the cases came out better than any vibratory tumbler I’ve ever used. I cleaned once fired HXP from the 60s that was as expected for its age. The brass looks new now after an hour.

So I bought these to use with my Frankford Arsenal Rotary Tumbler. I would say the 1 pack per 500 is off. I have done about 1400pcs of 9mm and about 750pcs of 223. I put in 1 pack (with pins) for 1 hour, brass come out looking like new every time. Great stuff!

I have been using this product for about 6 months. I shoot USPSA, Steel Challenge and PRS. This has worked out great for me. I did have one instance where it did not clean as described. I had a few thousand 223 cases to prep so I used Lymans Slick lube spray before sizing. I am not sure what chemical they use but the cleaner left the lube on the cases. Do not get me wrong, I will continue to use the cleaner without hesitation. It was just a learning experience for me. I will just stay away from spray lubricants from now on. I just wanted too let people know so they do not go thru the same experience I had. Still gave it 5 stars and will be purchasing more. By the way, I use it for range pistol brass that is picked up. I just use the cleaner without the stainless media and it all comes out clean and shiny.

Purchased this with my rotary tumbler lite super happy with both. These work as advertised brass comes out clean and shiny. even better than dawn and lemi shine. Wish they were a little more cost effective.
