Frankford Quick-N-Ez Tumbler

I bought my FA case tumbler back in 2009. I’m a competitive shooter in various affiliations and shoot tens of thousands of rounds a year. There’s no telling how many casings my tumbler has cleaned in that time. The bowl on the tumbler developed a small crack in 2019 by the lockdown threads at the base of the bowl. I used quicksteel to repair the bowl and back to work it went. As a matter of fact, I’m cleaning another 600 9mm casings right now. I’m amazed at how strong the motor still runs and how well it still cleans my brass. I highly recommend Frankfort’s cleaning polish as well. Thank you Frankford Arsenal for a great product that has lasted me almost 16 years!

I have had this tumbler for 10 years and it finally died on me (manufactured 06/15/13). I ran this tumbler for hundreds and hundreds of hours and it always did a good job. For the price I did not expect to get 10 years out of it, so I would highly reccommend this for longevity.

I purchased this as a second tumbler to compliment my Cabelas 400 that I've used for almost 20 years now - plan was to use the Cabelas as a cleaner, and this one as a polisher - simply put, this thing does NOT tumble at all... it vibrates a little and the brass just kind of walks around the bowl in a VERY SLOW circular motion...... nothing like the Cabelas that churns like a champ. The bottom plate on this thing also has a huge dent in it - possibly this is causing the issue as something on the inside may be damaged? But it was clearly packaged this way as there is not way it could have happened in transit, and I tried contacting customer support three times - no response. I'll be buying another Cabelas one and taking this thing to the range with me next time to give it a proper end to its existence.

Cracked the bowl with less than 5000 rounds tumbled. What a waste

Good: I’ve put over 30,000 brass through this over many years. In fact, it’s currently in the garage running as I write this. Bad: I’ve had to replace two motors, and now I’m dealing with the bowl itself cracking and breaking, held together by duct tape. Take from this what you can. If this life expectancy I’m seeing is acceptable to you, buy one. I will probably replace it with the exact same model.

I needed a replacement for an RCBS tumbler and bought this (since RCBS no longer offers the old one - only 25 years old or so) This one does not clean the cases with anything like the speed and efficiency of my RCBS one

I purchased 2 of these to process 1200 pounds of brass for 5 years and both going strong although I no longer process and sell brass.

I may have 6 hours total on this thing and the stud that holds the lid broke loose. Perhaps they need to include a spacer sleeve that slips over the stud so it cannot be over tightened. Problem solved! I'm using JB Weld to try and repair, we'll see. I don't see anywhere on this site to order parts. I don't think I should have to order a whole nother unit.

I have used this tumbler on thousands of cases in only about a couple months of owning it. So far it has been fantastic.

Had one for 8-10 years. Ran that one hard 100's of thousands of cases. Wore out the bearings. Replaced with another... That one wore the plastic on the bottom of the bowl out in a 1000 cases. Was great product... no longer worth buying
