Ordered these for a group goose hunt. I am very pleased with the shooting noise protection when used with the foam ear plugs. They worked well to hear the geese from the blind between shots. First time I've hunted for 3 days and didn't get exposed to shooting noise since I didn't need to remove foam plugs to hear the geese between shots. I gave 4 stars only because I wish the amplification would go a little louder but it is still good.
The sound quality and the way they're made is really good and I could hear animals and they're excellent product
They didn’t work for me. Thought they would amplify the sound better but at full volume it wasn’t good enough. I didn’t like the wiring in the back because you couldn’t lean back on anything without pushing the headset.
The hearing enhancement is mediocre at best. It picks up wind so bad it cancels any small hearing improvement. It also makes voices very tinney. The raptor does a decent job of being able to pick up direction as long as you do not have earplugs in. I works not purchase again or recommend.
Trying to figure out how to return these. They are decent as a bluetooth headphone but do nothing for sound clarity except for wind. All of these products seem to have very little in terms of hearing enhancement.
Despite the description, it does not work with Bluetooth on my phone or the app. If you read the reviews on the Android app, the vast majority of people are not able to get it to work or at least not get it to work consistently. I am now stuck with trying to make these work as a standalone device.
Great product but I wish one size fits all would have fit me. Couldn't get it to stay in place.
Got the Raptor Bone Conduction as a hearing device for my mom to see if they would help her hearing. TOTALLY impressed with them. They WORK as an affordable hearing aid. I'm going to invest in a pair for myself now!
