Load it with CO2 and steel BBs, pull back the charging handle on the end of the bolt to cock the hammer and fire at will!
Replica airguns are a speciality of Umarex, and the Legends M712 just might be the paragon of all firearm lookalikes. There were several variations of this pistol (commonly called the "Broomhandle Mauser" because the grip looks like a broom handle), and this is a copy of the Schnellfeuer (German for fast or rapid fire) version of the pistol, which was produced from 1932 to 1936.

*The blowback on the M712 CO2 pistol functions the same as it does on the firearm. There's no slide. The only thing that moves is the bolt. The purpose of the bolt's movement is to cock the hammer (because this is a single-action pistol).

I really like how this shoots. Good quality, really fun to shoot.
Things I Would Have ChangedA couple of things. One, the amount of C02 per cartridge, but this is standard with most blowbacks. And two, the magazine loading could be better. It is a pain to try and hold back the spring while loading in rounds.
What Others Should KnowNot much, just a really fun gun. Not super accurate, but fun full auto.

Things I Would Have ChangedOn the clip there is a plastic plug to tighten and crack the power let that cracks and renders the clip useless costing 45 bucks to get a new clip.They should offer a metal plug as an upgrade.
What Others Should KnowA ball at full auto but very accurate in single action mode.Dont tighten the cor cracker plug too much or else you'll crack it and be left only to buy a new one.

Sounds and feels great. Really enjoying it. Hard to load at first and not easy even with practice. but not bad. Really like it.

This gun is a blast. It's great to be able to target shoot with replicas of classics as it's VERY expensive to do so with the " real steel " , if you can get one. It's fun on full- auto, just be prepared for frequent reloads. Extra mags recommended .

Auto? Historic gun? Thats what I was looking for
Things I Would Have ChangedA more substantial build would be nice When it arrived, it was obvious to me that kid gloves were required here. Even so, within a week the outer barrel loosened up. It is attached bt a teensy hex screw that was not tight. After giving it a very little more torque, {it is all plastic around it], it was better but not as it should be.
What Others Should KnowThis has potential but not a comfortable pistol. Very front heavy. I would love to see the stock/holster that was supplied with this originally as an option
