Light weight and doesn’t rattle on the buffer tube. Butt pad is aggressive enough to get a good purchase in the shoulder pocket but doesn’t snag on plate carrier.
Great product fits my S&W MP Sport 2 perfectly. Heat shield is awesome
Very solid, no slop on the buffer tube, just enough surface area to shoulder but not overly large and cumbersome. Love it
Comfortable and finds its place on the peck
This stock is really nothing special. It's nice that it has 3 positions for extension but that's it. It's a basic cheap stock that if you shoot more than 30 rounds of 5.56, you will feel it the next day. This came standard on my Q, Sugar Weasel and I personally don't like it.
Seemed somewhat small, but once assembled it works, instructions were simple, straightforward…
I purchased the SL-K after being quite impressed with the SL and SL-S stocks, specifically the leaf springs that prevent wobble and provide a solid, fixed-stock feel. Unfortunately, the SLK falls short of replicating that same experience. The 'special tensioner' designed to reduce wobble doesn't quite deliver, as the stock still wobbles noticeably on all of my buffer tubes/receiver extensions. Additionally, the lack of cheek risers for the SL line is disappointing. While there are a few aftermarket options, they are surprisingly more expensive than the stock itself. Overall, the SL-K doesn't meet the standard set by the SL and SL-S variants in terms of stability and I am disappointed with the lack of accessory options.
I love this stock, the butt pad is great but it’s also smooth and doesn’t stick to your shirt or gear when you shoulder it. It also allows for a perfect cheek weld. I use it for competitive shooting so it’s great for that but I changed all my PCCs and ARs to this because it’s also great with body armor and plates. It’s fast over the shoulder too because of its smaller footprint when transitioning from one position to another. I just can’t complain, this thing is simple but effective. Magpul just keeps getting better!
