M-LOK Type 2 Rail Covers are low-profile, two-piece covers that install directly onto most M-LOK aluminum hand guards (non-polymer). This pack of six M-LOK covers is non-orientation specific, which allows the user to mount them in any direction desired without affecting function. Not compatible with MAGPUL MOE M-LOK, MOE SL and SGA forends, and may not be compatible with free-float hand guards that have a wider and flatter profile, as they will not seat deep enough to allow the center portion to lock in. Featuring beveled contours to minimize potential snagging, our TSP texture for additional grip, and with a protrusion only slightly more than 1/8" from the mounting surface to maintain its low-profile. The center locking tab is pre-scored to allow the user to snap off sections and mix and match colors for a customized look. Includes six panels, each covering one M-LOK slot.

Well worth the wait! The textured rail covers keep my hand from slipping, protecting it from barrel heat. I really like these!
Like the function, easy to install, allow a positive gripping surface.
Does exactly what it needs to, very secure on the rail, great grip, great heat dissipation.
Easily my most favorite upgrade, easy install and looks so good.
Not as good as original Magpul rail covers in black. The center section is brittle and may BRAKE when trying to remove them, as the installation may required a rubber mallet to lock center piece in plac.
Nice handguard covers and they provide great grip at a fair price.

The Magpul Type 2 M-LOK rail covers speak for themselves, They’re durable, highly textured, and made with modularity in mind. The dimensions of these rail covers are perfect, they’re seamless between each other and allow for Magpul’s vertical grips to be seamlessly inserted between them. The texturing and thickness of these rail covers make them a treat to hold onto whether you’re gloved or bare handed, they provide just enough added thickness to slim M-LOK handguards to make them handy enough so you’re not pinching the handguard but not overly wide like some rail-covered 1913 handguards. Furthermore regarding the texturing, these covers perform through rain, sweat, blood, and probably tears… slipping grip is not something you have to worry about even remotely if you have a halfway solid grip. Onto the installation process, it is equally as simple as the deinstallation process… simply place the cover and press the key in with two thumbs or tap it with the butt of any solid object to seat, once seated these covers are incredibly snug and do not have play. To remove the cover simply jack a small allen key or pen-tip, or any small rigid object into one of the four retention access cutouts. Never once have I encountered any source of frustration when installing or reconfiguring these covers on my rifle. Overall these are an excellent choice for anyone seeking to thicken their slim handguard’s grip-space, increase the friction of their handguard’s texture, and have seamless cohesion with magpul grips.
